This is an exhibition tournament right?

(get ready, your thread will be moved to that forum eventually)

its not an exhibition. Prize money and top players in it. Just not an ATP event

Okay, so it's a prize money event, not ATP sanctioned. Got it. :)

"Top players" :haha:

Zack Fleishman
Joel Kielbowicz
Robert Steckley
Michael Rubin
Andreas Siljestrom

"Zach has some tough competition" :haha:

"its not an exhibition" What the hell is it then?

The prize pool is comparable to a lowest-grade futures tournament.

Nothing wrong with the tournament, just admit it's a MM exhibition tournament.

It's a normal prize money tournament. There are tons of them each week all over the world, so this here is really nothing special.

They are world class players going to a normal club (seemingly)

I would love to see that sort of stuff down here.

Our top level stuff is 10 times lower :tape:

Siljeström won the NCAA Doubles Championship this summer. So he is in the same college range like Bryan/Bryan. I only say "college", but u see...he is not that bad!

Rubin Takes 2007 Challenge Crown
Second seeded Michael Rubin fought off the powerful serve of Sweden's 6'10" Andreas Siljestrom to capture the 2007 Checker Sedan Pro Tennis Challenge at Grosse Pointe's Lochmoor Club, 6-3, 5-7, 6-1. Rubin took the first set 6-3, but Siljestrom came roaring back with a powerful second stanza serving performance. Yet Rubin's equally impressive service return shackled Siljestrom, and the Ohio native breezed through the final set, 6-1 to capture the title and $4,000 top prize

Great money for it or? 4000 $? That is sometimes more than a 1st round in a little ATP Tournament!!! Or more than a challenger win!!!

Some older players only play prize money tournaments and leagues, because they can earn money that way, e.g. Thomas Schiessling.
