How long did they play? It was barely 10th five-setter in very long Schuettler's career.

Retire already, hopeless old fart.

:smash: all that despite it looked quite promising mid-way through the match :(

Disappointing for Rainer.

08-27-2007, 10:45 PM
Well, at least he won 2 sets, I guess.

08-27-2007, 10:46 PM
too bad rainer didn't win

08-27-2007, 10:47 PM
This was a good chance for Schuettler to pick up a win but I guess Capdeville earnt it.

Pretty tough to see Capdeville doing anything more than make up the numbers against Roger.

Vamos Paul! :D

I hope that Paul at least win a set against Roger... Gildemeister should pick him as the 2nd. player in Davis Cup...

VAMOS PAUL! :rocker2:

Well done by Capdeville. He should have won in 4, but he missed 3 set points when he was leading 5-4 in the third set, when Rainer was serving 0-40. After that, I thought he was going to crumble, but he fought on and won.

Still remember Schuettler from that amazing AO run and great year, too bad he can't seem to sustain sustain at least a top 50-60 career now.

Nice present for Roger as he's getting prepared for the Isner bombing

08-28-2007, 10:32 AM
Vamos Paul :rocker:

Is disappointing for Rainer.

Actually, Rainer qualifying was already more than I think he was expecting :tape:
