And we have another German headcase that - after some encouraging results - can't get it together at all. Another 2-0 lead blown in a GS, this time on his fave surface against a GS rookie. Just embarrassing.

Well done Petzschner.

I am really happy for Petzschner. :yeah: First time that he qualified for a GS MD, and now he's in the 2nd round. If Haas wins his match, Petzschner will have the honor to appear on german TV.

But wow, Benni, what a loss. That must hurt a lot. :(

Good that Philipp proved you wrong finally.

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Petzschner now has won only 11 ranking points in the first six months of 2007, but in the last four tournaments he got 109. :worship:

Petzschner finally improves his career high from 2003. And btw: Thanks for winning me 4 bets in this tournament! :wavey:

:yeah: Philipp

I hope that winning great matches like this also makes him realize that he needs to schedule a heck of a lot better, or have someone else make his schedules for him :tape:

He got one of the hardest qualifiers to play. He will get some wins in Asia.

no more words about Becker :tape: he is having his deserved fall in the rankings now which reflects his results the last months :smash:

Very good for Petzschner of course! :yeah:

Yes, Becker is a nutter. Unfortunate cause he does have a big game.

And in the battle of the German big servers, Petzschner won. :D Incredible result for him, hope he keeps it rolling!

His highest rank that was 4 years old (back to when he was a teen, heh) will finally be improved.

As for Benjamin, well :tape: he won't really enjoy having the 4th Round points flushed down the shitter.

Becker turned into useless - but a good qualify and first win in Grand Slam for Petzschner

Without knowing the details Becker did seem to be injured after first two sets, there were some long breaks on the scoreboard. I think Becker has had back trouble for a long time although he hasn't actually retired much.

I second that, TankingTheSet.

Becker fought hard but seemed to be injured in the 4th set.
