Juan-Pablo Guzman on US Open main draw???

I wonder how this Argie get on main draw. He is #132 in ranking almost two years didn't play on hard. Sounds mystery for me :confused:

Go look at the Entry List thread in the US Open tournament forum and your mystery will be solved. Hint: what was his ranking 6 weeks ago?

Rankings are taken from quite a while before the tournament, so another example is Dancevic who has virtually halved his ranking (and he had to qualify) when his current ranking would given him direct entry.
