Little Federer? I must have missed where that comparison was drawn.

Anyways, I say that Safin craps his way through a couple of rounds. Hence, he wins this.

I have been using it for a while but it just hasn't caught on :). I just saw some similarities in terms of the flair of their games and... the BANDANA... Similar hairstyles too really actually. :)

I've always thought Delic looked more like Federer in the face. I don't really see the similarities in their games, though. :)

His technique on the forehand looks similar to Feds and he uses the slice backhand a lot.. and like I said, the bandana and hair style. He also likes to play an all court game like Federer... or at least as all court as you could expect in this day and age.. check out the vids!

What are you guys smoking? Marat may be in a slump but he still has the game to get by an inexperienced Frank over 5 sets. Next year may be a different story but I would be shocked if Marat can't win this. Frank is now "little Federer" ?

Marat may have the experience, but Franky Dan certainly has the match-up. There is no shot that Safin fears more in men's tennis than the backhand slice. Ask Santoro...

Frank's slice sits up unlike Santoro's and Fed's slice - he still has to work on it.

Based on his experiences and achievments in tennis during his 10 years in this game. You cannot say that he has no talent! He has won 2 grand slams, so notice it at least. Just because he is not in his best shape don't downplay his abilities!

Is this the first poll Marat has ever lost?

maybe its a new strategy? Every other time it is predicted he will win, he loses.

And to all these people saying Marat has experience, that he can last over 5 sets etc. Look, I hate to break it to you, but Marat is sort of crazy and wildly inconsistent. And lucky sometimes (haha). There is no reason that he should lose this, which means that he probably will. :p

My head says Marat, my heart says Frankie. That said, I do think Frankie has more than enough game to take out Marat. He'll just have to showcase that and be consistent over the course of a longer match. That's a main key to defeating Marat.

Come on Frankie, you can do it! :rocker2:
