John is slightly awkward, but still hitting the ball well

Perhaps, we need a separate thread for John's pithy analysis?

Done. :)

Now we have a little piece of the internet to talk about John's deep analysis of Andy's game and other things, like when they talk to him on TV. The game plans are also very interesting.

My second thread ever we'll see how it does it might be redundant.

Only as redundant as his mind seems to be when talking about tennis. It's like he's lost the will to live analyse.

But it doesn't matter. I love thee, Saint Johnne the Chubby until the end of time!

It could be fun to have all John match "observations" in one place. For comparative purposes to see how Andy's game is going. Not to poke fun at him or anything like that.

He hit the ball well and his serving percentage was better.

Your right that really does work.:speakles::rolls: Although I don't think I held my breath long enough it only lasted like 45 seconds.

Have we posted his insight from the final yet?
It was definitely an interesting end to the tournament having to face 2 guys that are so big. Andy did a great job of taking care of his service points. Against Isner, he kept him working in his service games, which got him a break and made the tie breaker easier. Lets keep the momentum going into the rest of the summer!

Did John forget the last . or did it not copy.

Starting With Gimel’August 29th, 2007 01:40 am

Andy got off to a good start at the US Open today against Justin Gimelstob. A straight set win is always good in a slam. Gimel’ did a good job of making it difficult for Andy to get rhythm. Andy eventually adjusted and started returning better. Andy served well the whole match. I would also like to wish Gimel’ good luck in retirement! We’ll miss him

Andy started a little slow against Acasuso, but he did a good job of turning the momentum around. He started to get the first strike and attack. It looked like he was getting more comfortable attacking and moving forward. It was nice to see a little mix of serve and volley. We were all sorry to see Jose get injured. I hope he gets better soon.
