Fonsie I see you wouldnt agree with the FDA nutrition reccomendations, too high sources of protein can be hindering, I see you dont like balanced diets. Its all or nothing at all, though I cant disagree proteins are a great source of energy, beside they help you build muscle and collagen. :tape:

My personal favorites
Dominican
Italian
French
Spanish
Thai

Too many that I could probably name.

1.Italian (love it the most of any food on the planet)
2.Chinese (love it)
3. Japanese (like it a lot but I don't like some types of raw fish so that detracts)
4. French (very good but very heavy- makes me gain too much weight)
5. Mexican (like it but sometimes too spicy)
6. Thai (like it sometimes)
7.American (so-so- I will usually eat the least American food available)

Never had Spanish food so I can't judge on it. Maybe I will revise my list after my trip to Barcelona next spring. :)

No one else has really mentioned this, but vegetarian dishes.

I also like some Polish foods (paczki :p and pierogies), and you'd think I'd like it considering that my dad's side of the family is Polish, but no. lol I love spanakopita too, but I've never had any other Greek dishes to be able say that I like Greek. lol

I wonder why noone mentions english or german food :tape:Brit food? Is there such a thing? j/k...guys.

As for German food, I ate it every day of my life growing up. Meat, potatoes and gravy. It's good, hearty food but as an adult, I much prefer the complex flavors of Asian cuisines. Sadly, I married a meat-n-potato kinda guy and so while I can/have made elaborate multi-course meals...he's just as happy with a pot roast.

Why are they all referred to as a type of ''cuisine?''

I can only conclude your taste buds were nuked in your childhood by an excess of sauerkraut.

sauerkraut isn't that much of a national dish anymore.

but yeah, german food still pretty much sucks, no doubt about it. bavaria makes up for the northern parts though, with all its knödels, sausages and deserts. that's why i put prussian cuisine on the "suck" list.
