Since I can't come here that often this month and am really out of the loop I decided to start a thread to chat with whoever is online at that time. I don't want to pollute all the other threads with my personal talks and will do it here ;)

Cat when are you heading to Paris? I'd like to know how things are going now

And I ate fries tonight and will get crisps later ;)

It's so strange that when I said goodbye for a while on the Cult my computer acted up on me and I still couldn't progress with my thesis. I formatted it twice and will install XP again soon and then hopfully things will be better and I can study again.

No, desert. Actually, my house is quite fit your description of a dream house. The only lacking is it's not a villa. There's a lemon tree with lemons. A swimming pool. Red-tile roof. The walls are not white but earth tone. It's warm ( :o actually hot) here.

Domino

You have good taste! Those songs are done by a tunisian, the ones I mentioned, but you can probably find them. For the life of me, I cannot remember his name. He was on the Star Academy, and I can't remember his name!

maratski
05-07-2004, 10:00 PM
I've only seen french star academy 1 and there was a tunisian guy named Jalil.

My mom says the arab one is funny.

Abdelhalim Hafez is nice too. I had downloaded some of his songs.

Domino
05-07-2004, 10:19 PM
True, the Arabic one was funny, but totally nationalistic. The Egyptian guy won because his country outpopulated Kuwait, and the Kuwaitie was soooooo much better! That name sounds familiar, so that could be him. Ya Boba is a bit old though, like five years ago it was the most popular in the region, but now, it is like a classic played in every party.

Don't know if I can join in, but you are all so right.
F1 is one of the most boring sports there is right now. Several journalists were quoted saying stuff like: "Schumacher is killing the sport". And I agree. I'm still waiting for Kimi and Jenson to do something, anything to make Schumi a little bit uncomfortable. But I guess those two will only get a little closer to a good result after Schumacher has retired... :(

Snoopy_Girl

 Conan should certainly do that. You would have your own private jet and a stretched limo and a tourbus and everything! ;) Conan would be so popular LOL.

But the question is: will he sing too? ;)

I'm so jealous of everybody that's going to RG. I remember being there last year and seeing all the players pass me by while walking on the Champs Elysées. The memories....
