Grips- where can i buy them?????

Eebex

While i was watching Queens on TV, the commentators started talking about forehand 'grips', calling them Eastern, Western FH grips.
id like to know, how do grips affect players shots and where do they buy them??
are they expensive( and only pros can buy them) or anyone can?
also whats the difference between, lets say, Eastern or Southern grips????

They are referring to the way they hold the racquet, not a product, sweetie.

The forehand grip is the way that a player holds the racket when hitting a forehand stroke. The Continental FH grip is the least extreme, then the Eastern, Semi Western, Western and the most extreme is the Hawaian.
More extreme grips are better for producing shots with more topspin while less extreme grips are better for flatter shots.

Look here:

P.S: Rofl at Southern grip :haha:

Western grips can be bought at Fort Bridger on the Oregon Trail.

Eastern grips are only available on the top of a magical mountain. It's a perilous journey, but on the positive side, next to the pro-shop lives a wise man who will answer 3 of your questions about the nature of the universe.

Right. Since I didn't agree with your post, you felt it was necessary to start insulting. Quite sad actually. Then again, you have been a member for a couple of months but you have over a 1000 posts. It's obvious that you don't have anything really interesting or contributive to say. Keep up the good work, champ!

first of all, if you'll look closer at my post you'll find that i wasn't insulting you. second, just because my post count happens to be substantially bigger than yours (ftr i am not bragging about my post count) and you've been around for a few months longer, doesn't mean i have nothing interesting/contributive to say, dipshit. i'm allowed to laugh at a joke thread if i want. jesus christ. lay off.
