1st WC given to Waske. Kiefer is supposed to get 1 of the 2 remaining.

"Alexander Waske erhielt von den Veranstaltern Herwig Straka und Edwin Weindorfer eine Wild Card für den Hauptbewerb. Ein Kandidat für eine der zwei noch zu vergebenden Wild Cards ist Nicolas Kiefer. "

Jan was in the field of Amersfoort, but he was in Main Draw of Stuttgart (and just after he came into the Main Draw of Amersfoort). So because he was in Stuttgart Main Draw you get an automatically withdraw of the other tournaments in this week.

No, there is not an 'automatic withdrawal'. It depends on the priority Hernych has given to Stuttgart/Amersfoort. He is allowed to prioritize the smaller tournament.

yes they have a priority, but if you are somewhere in Main Draw normally they withdraw you automatic on the other tournament...

they give you priority normally just if you would be directly in the Main Draw in both tournaments... (the rulebook said you can give priority but the ATP and ITF pulls you out automatic in the other event if you went somewhere else in Main Draw. (also at itf tournaments you can enter up to 6 tournaments but if you are at one in main draw you will get withdraw automatic on the other tournaments)

Lukas Dlouhy just pulled out, too but for him Jan Hajek will be in Main Draw. (the cut at the moment is 100)

now that the draw size has changed, are they still going to play a best-of-three final..? it's still an international series gold tornament..just curious what does that depend on ..and why has the draw format changed anyway..? prize money got bigger and the draw got smaller..? That's really confusing..:)

CooCooCachoo
07-20-2007, 07:40 AM
Yes, the final will be Best of Three.
