Igor Andreev d. Phillip Kohlschreiber 6-7 6-1 6-4TheBoiledEgg 05-16-2007, 03:50 PM Igor :D :) good comeback :worship:  now go and blow Piggy's house down tomorrow   Fergie 05-16-2007, 03:50 PM Igor :woohoo: Rrrainer 05-16-2007, 03:50 PM great first set, one way in the second and a battle in the third. both came up with stunning shots and i must say, andreev still is a damn versatile player: good backhand, brilliant forehand at times, moves pretty well again and should definitely survive a couple of rounds at rg. his ranking is gonna go up this year, i'm sure. good to see him completely recovered. anyways: sad for our guy kohli, he really could have made an impact this time in hamburg. GlennMirnyi 05-16-2007, 04:03 PM Andreev is too solid. This Andreev is good. FluffyYellowBall 05-16-2007, 04:07 PM Igor :D :) good comeback :worship:  now go and blow Piggy's house down tomorrow   Ok mr Wta world.com... Sunset of Age 05-16-2007, 04:08 PM Great job by Andreev! Phillip didn't play bad at all, but in the end the better player deservedly won. jayjay 05-16-2007, 04:13 PM Decent match. Andreev, as we all know, was the last man to beat Nadal on clay. Now they will meet in R3, should be a good watch. GlennMirnyi 05-16-2007, 04:16 PM Decent match. Andreev, as we all know, was the last man to beat Nadal on clay. Now they will meet in R3, should be a good watch. How can you simply dismiss Der Kaiser Hernandez? kinglear 05-16-2007, 04:16 PM Andreev is too solid. This Andreev is good. He looks great, but assuming Nadal beats Oscar, how do you think Igor can handle Nadal. What weapons of Igor can actually frustrate Nadal? I think if anything, it's Igor's awesome inside-out forehand and solid serve that will give him a chance. If Nadal wasn't in Igor's draw, I would have been satisfied with Igor reaching the final and then being beat by Nadal. :) IF Nadal beats Oscar, then I hope between him and Igor the best man wins. jayjay 05-16-2007, 04:18 PM How can you simply dismiss Der Kaiser Hernandez? I'm taking a big risk. :D MariaV 05-16-2007, 04:20 PM Decent match. Andreev, as we all know, was the last man to beat Nadal on clay. Now they will meet in R3, should be a good watch. I hope for a good match too. :D Well done Igor! :yeah: Bilbo 05-16-2007, 04:21 PM lucky one, igor Five 05-16-2007, 04:23 PM lucky one, igor lucky? if he didnt choke he would destroy Kohlschreiber in easy 2 sets. Something like 63 61  GlennMirnyi 05-16-2007, 04:23 PM He looks great, but assuming Nadal beats Oscar, how do you think Igor can handle Nadal. Why are you asking me this? I'm not saying Igor will do it. The fact is Igor was the last one who defeated Nadal on clay. He's a natural claycourter, very aggressive and his forehand is heavy as hell. He won't be bothered much by the moonballing on the backhand, also. I'm taking a big risk. :D You're a gambler, mate. :D jayjay 05-16-2007, 04:24 PM You're a gambler, mate. :D Not a good one, at the moment. :o GlennMirnyi 05-16-2007, 04:28 PM Not a good one, at the moment. :o It's still time to quit the bet, mate. :p jayjay 05-16-2007, 04:30 PM It's still time to quit the bet, mate. :p It's been a shite few days since Sunday, you know God (not that there is one) is not smiling on you when Ben Wallace is hitting free throws with his eyes closed and Andy Murray gets a bad injury while he is delivering a spanking. GlennMirnyi 05-16-2007, 04:35 PM It's been a shite few days since Sunday, you know God (not that there is one) is not smiling on you when Ben Wallace is hitting free throws with his eyes closed and Andy Murray gets a bad injury while he is delivering a spanking. Tell me about it. jayjay 05-16-2007, 04:42 PM Tell me about it. TT? GlennMirnyi 05-16-2007, 04:47 PM TT? Yeah. Soderling 6/1 3/1 and Murray 5/1. jayjay 05-16-2007, 04:51 PM Yeah. Soderling 6/1 3/1 and Murray 5/1. Serves you right for picking Soderling over Warrior Ferrer. :p kinglear 05-16-2007, 04:54 PM Why are you asking me this? I'm not saying Igor will do it. Even when Nadal's not playing well, he can usually pull through. But I'd prefer Igor to win. Plus, it's not like Nadal is defending a title. Nadal will be quite okay if he loses. GlennMirnyi 05-16-2007, 05:04 PM Serves you right for picking Soderling over Warrior Ferrer. :p 4-0 H2H. ;) Scotso 05-16-2007, 05:20 PM Igor :D but Philipp  JustJames 05-16-2007, 05:37 PM Philipp  Hopefully his little run of good form will continue... oh la la. 05-16-2007, 06:18 PM Igor :woohoo: Igor on clay :rocker2: his forehand :hearts: dylan24 05-16-2007, 06:29 PM igor going to bitch slap nadal all over hamburg tomorrow Voo de Mar 05-16-2007, 06:31 PM Kohlschreiber has won 10 of the last 11 tie-breaks. tennisgal_001 05-16-2007, 06:42 PM Too bad for Kohl but I'm liking his form those past few weeks. Igor's inside-out forehand is BRILLIANT! Reagrdless of what happens tomorrow, we all know it's going to be one hell of a match. Looking forward to it. jazar 05-16-2007, 07:10 PM nice one igor. 2 wins in a row is a rare achievement this season | |
