What?!!!

I understand his reasons, but this is the most important tie in years for us...and we have genuine chance of getting back inot the World Group. Without him, we're done.

Bellsprout for even considering it. Additionally, really no need to announce it now, particularly so publicly. It is true he is needed greatly, and shouldn't start thinking about withdrawing so early. This guy is such a pussy. In all honesty, the transition from hard court to indoor is barely any different, not to mention that the subsequent transition to a clay court is required of all players. So really he is only changing once, and has to get used to that.

He might have to withdraw. He has picked up what looks like a nasty wrist injury v Volandri. Bad luck for him because he was creaming Volandri.

Doesn't matter. Henman will win all three rubbers.

It's becoming common to see brit players not commiting to DC. But I think that the UK fed. will pay him good guarantees and he will play.

doesnt matter if he does, croatia will win either way. but if he doesnt play it will make the matches more watchable and much less  inducing
