 Shocker 1st set.

Better 2nd set, some good tennis when he broke Gasquet at 1-2* and held for a 3-2 lead. Thought he might get back on track but I guess I was wrong. Anyway VAMOS GAUDIO

played some good stuff in the second, played some what the fuck great shots but just the odd game lost him it. He needs a break, remember what sampras did in 2002, he was lagging the whole season and at the us open he found inspiration and that is what gaudio needs. He has the class and can produce good results in any surface particularly clay, take a 6 month break after the french open and come back fresh gaston.

Shame but it was expected though.

gasquet's tennis is so good to watch. he's like a little federer: beautiful groundstrokes, nice technique, good sense of tactics etc.

good victory, keep going!

Why did you want it taped if you watched it, unless if you're judging the level of tennis by the score?

I'd like to have some memories when he retires after Roland Garros, looks like it at the moment:sad:

Good match all around. Gaudio kinda self destructed with the UEs, but Richard was also not helping him.

They both have no fighting spirit.

Doesn't seem to be that important if you can win 10 GS without it...

They both have no fighting spirit.

you're talking about fed and gasquet or gaudio and gasquet?

well, if the first scenrio is true: thank GOD fed doesn't have the kinda fighting spirit someone like nadal has. tennis would be crushed, he wouldn't lose for 10 years.

and if gasquet also had fighting spirit, he'd be no.2 or 3 in the world.

but i feel sorry 4 gaudio, he needs to get in the game from the start rather than in the second set!

I feel so unbelievably sorry for Gaudio. He has so much talent and yet he's completely self destructed. To suffer from depression is bad enough, but when you're a professional sportsman, it must be a complete nightmare. I really hope he takes a long break, as carrying on like this isn't doing him much good.

Well played Gasquet though!

The only poor about Gaudio in this match was his backhand.

Gasquet played a very solid match, he served well and didn't make many mistakes and Gaudio had some good patches of play in the 2nd set, the end with Gaudio and Chryst was quite funny in a bad way.

Scoreline isn't a such a surprise.

George saying some thing positive about Gasquet? :) Yeah, it is wise to change the tone slowly, otherwise one would look stupid sooner or later. :p

I am not in the mood for your crap, most days I am, but not today.

This is a problem with what I said is what? It changes absolutely nothing about my view of Gasquet, it was a comment on the specific match and that's all. So go bother someone else please.
