A chilling warning to the transitional champion

Volandri's excellent victory over future champion Gasquet shows his excellent form and he is well poised to cause a storm at rome.

If Federer dares to cross him this week, i predict a straight sets 6-4 7-5 victory in favor of the talented italian.

Minus the insanity factor, what you're basically saying is a SS win for Fed is expected.

1. Federer was already booked into R3 before Volandri tucked into his Dolmio pasta bake lunch today..

2. You need a mental exam... :cuckoo: :bolt:

Oh come on, its probably rafa=fedkilla or Just Cause with a brand new account, waiting for us to fill up his thread... I mean, it'd be cool if nobody replied, but I understand you guys... sometimes these stupidities are too strong as to be ignored.

Yes, has to be him, and I also wondered what took him so long. There are a few other places he's not invaded yet either. Somehow I don't think folks here will put up with his behaviour for very long.

Filo is very capable of beating Federer on clay. Just depends on whether he's scared of winning against the number 1 like the rest of the tour, bar Nadal.

He's predicted a loss for Federer in all his matches for the last 3 years, a 1% success rate doesn't make someone "prescient"

We were so sure yesterday, and now we've been proven right. I don't think this tournament (or even the final) is for Filippo this year however. There will be some letdown after this win as there usually is, but he'll be ready for at least a QF showing at RG.
