OK, here we have a good clash between (my favourite) southamerican claycourt player and a big server who usually plays well on everything but clay...

Andy owns Chela 6-1 in h2h, though all meetings were on hard courts. Tomorrow we'll find out just how bad a match-up this is for JIC.

Chela is quietly having a very good season. That will continue tomorrow. Very good win today over Andreev. Decent chance here for him to make his 3rd Masters QF this season and possibly even a SF spot.

Dont know exactly :) He is like my soulmate or something like that.
I like his game (similar to mine), forehand and his looks on court :cool: Plays well on hard-court too and has achieved a lot without being a great talent or big serve. My (claycourt) idol :)

Nalbandian is not my fav anymore, since rallys, eating and drinking beer became more important than playing tennis :o And wasting his enormous talent...

Chela has been playing well this year, but I think Roddick's game is just TOO BIG. 2 sets to 1.

Chela will school this hack on the finer points of claycourt tennis.

I haven't seen Chela play recently, and I didn't see Roddick's match, but I think Andy should be able to pull out the win. It sounded as if he was playing pretty well with the volley and dropshot especially. If he keeps that up, I'd say Andy in 2 or 3.
