They just said on Sky that it's a shoulder injury - which obviously is very worrying if it's the same shoulder and same area of the shoulder that forced him to miss the entire year a few seasons back. We'll have to wait for more info and hope for the best, for his shoulder, for Hamburg and for the rest of his career possibly.

^^ Oh dear...

I'm no fan of Tommy's but it's horrible to see anyone get such a serious injury. Hope he'll have a good recovery soon!

Tommy has to meet his retirement quota, might as well do it during the clay season. ;)

Hopefully the shoulder's not serious.

This sounds bad, scoobs. Hopefully it won't turn out to be as serious as it sounds.

He says it isn't painful, but he has no strength in the shoulder and the right arm. He already had that problem in Munich last week. He underwent some medical tests and there was no tear. He isn't sure to play Hamburg and Düsseldorf now.

Pity to hear of his struggles with the shoulder injury. Hope it's not too serious for him.

Aww that's too bad for Tommy.

I hope it isn't very serious, but you know I think he almost would have hoped for any other injury than that shoulder.

Stepanek could do to have a good tournament here. He has been given the chance.

so when u use an old excuse again and again, it becomes true

injury prone is one thing. abusing rules is another. really make it hard for me to root for him.

He always retires, it's ridiculous. And his results are always up-and-down, as we've seen the last few years. At first he seemed a lock for the TMC but not no so sure...
