Who will win the Match of Day 1 ? The King Oscar Hernandez or Hewitt?

Yes, the organisers of the Italian Open have realised that the Foro Italico crowd wanted to see this match on centre court and their wish has been granted.

Hewitt hasn't played for some time and the King while preparing for his Wimbledon campaign has been playing well of late.

Hernandez will shock Hewitt with his attacking S & V play whereas the only time Hewitt is coming to the net is to shake hands after the match is finished.

I think he has a chance since hewitt is not THAT strong on clay and He has not really been in form for a while.

If Hewitt is smart he'll pull out and save himself from a caining of a lifetime.

The man who calls himself `King` is going down & the man who was `King`[2001->2002] will shelve out a 6-1, 6-2 romp!!!

This kind of match is a walk in the park for Hewitt, ~amazing that so many jokers are betting against him;><:..

Okay guys, this is my first post here. I know a lot of you guys know about tennis but sometimes your predictions are way off, then after the fact you try and say you knew the result would happen. Hewitt will win this match in two sets, I know a lot about tennis and will prove it to you guys with my predictions, thanks.

Guys. I am an utter Lleyton fan, and I believe in his clay court skills...But coming back from an injury to his first clay TMS since 2004 I really give Oscar the biggest chance of winning here. Especially considereng his form and his quali matches. Last year Lleyton did amazingly well at the FO, but a week before he lost in Poertsach to a nobody on clay...

Only if Lleyton is really fit can he perform anywhere outside the grandslams...Till then it's only the GS where his mentality shines through atm, I am sorry to say :(

But I hope Lleyton wins it. Oscar's moment in the sun comes in July.

I missed most of the set. The only two I saw involved him following approach shots that made no sense and Hewitt gliding strange shots past him as he was halfway into the court.
