Is this just a Client List of the Ace Group who run the event ???

Pretty much.

So they're saying Youzhny winning last year's Boodles was his career achievement?

Still a good line up. Nalbandian and Safin for example. Murray is certain to play at some stage, he has said as much.

Hewitt will almost certainly be invited to the Boodles Challenge exhibition at Stoke Park

LLEYTON Hewitt has rejected a wildcard for Rosmalen in the Netherlands next week, confident his claycourt form will propel him to Wimbledon.

Dutch officials yesterday sounded out Hewitt, who was eliminated in the second round at Queen's Club by French qualifier Jo-Wilfried Tsonga on Thursday.

Hewitt won on grass at Rosmalen in 2001 and reached the quarter-finals there before withdrawing in 2002, when he went on to win Wimbledon.

But the world No. 16 seems likely to participate in one of the two London exhibition events next week to gain more match practice on grass.

"We are not sure yet what we are doing," Hewitt's manager David Drysdale said. "But we won't be going to (Rosmalen). We are still waiting to hear more about the exhibitions and we'll take it from there."

Hewitt will almost certainly be invited to the Boodles Challenge exhibition at Stoke Park from Tuesday.

Stoke Park organisers are sweating on the fitness of Nicolas Kiefer and David Nalbandian after the withdrawal yesterday of Andy Murray.

Hurlingham Club also stages an exhibition and is closer to Hewitt's base in Wimbledon Village.

By playing in either event, Hewitt could still practise at the All England Club, where as a former champion he has membership and increased access to practice courts.

Hewitt yesterday partnered Tim Henman to a 4-6 6-3 10-6 (match tiebreak) win against Czech pair Frantisek Cermak and Leos Friedel.

Triple Queen's champion Andy Roddick dodged a bullet in a 4-6 7-6 (7-5) 6-4 win against Britain's Alex Bogdanovic.

"First round I played great," said Roddick, who was within two points of defeat.

"Today, I probably didn't have my best stuff."

Hawk-Eye technology saved Roddick at 5-all in the second-set tiebreak when a linesman ruled a forehand wide, giving Bogdanovic match point.

Roddick challenged the call and it was overturned.

"I'm a big supporter of Hawk-Eye. There's a big difference between being down match point and up set point," Roddick said.

The second seed plays 18-year-old Croatian wildcard Marin Cilic in the quarter-finals. Cilic, the top junior in the world last year, defeated Tsonga 4-6 6-3 6-2.

Former world No. 1 Marat Safin was another casualty, edged out 7-6 (7-3) 7-6 (7-4) by Croat danger Ivo Karlovic.

Is Nalbandian part of the official 8 man line-up this year that is guaranteed 3 matches, or will he be playing a one-off exhibition match like last year? I hope it's the former as needs as much match practice as he can get.

As for that Herald Sun article , wouldn't it be in the British press if Murray had pulled out? (though this could have been left secret to keep tickets selling) But I don't think he would pull out so early considering how late he is leaving his decision to play Wimbledon.

Murray has said that he will leave the decision as to whether he plays Wimbledon as late as he possibly can, and may even withdraw on the day of the match if he doesn't feel as if he can play... he wants to give himself every possible chance to play though

did Tommy officially withdraw yet??? No news about him here in Germany. Last thing I heard was that he is in Munich getting treatment from the doctor of Bayern München and Klaus Eder (physio of our national soccer and Davis Cup team)

Stoke Park organisers are sweating on the fitness of Nicolas Kiefer and David Nalbandian after the withdrawal yesterday of Andy Murray.

As for Kiwi... he is fit again. Played very well in Halle although he lost to Berdych. And he told in several interviews that he will play this exhibition and is looking forward to have 3 more matches before Wimbledon. David Nalbandian was in Halle, too. Lost early but didn't seem to be injured.

As far as Boodles are concerned, all the big names who were doubts - Murray, Nalbandian, Youzhny & Kiefer are still expected to play their part and none have notified them of their withdrawals at this stage.

OOP will be out in 2/3 hours for tomorrow.

well.. I am sure Spadea was fighting for that win, too. He wants to prepare for Wimbledon just like Kiwi.... I am just happy about that win. After a year of pain and worries he finally won a single match again... exhibition or not... it was a win!!
