jen_nz 10-30-2005, 04:59 AM Last chance to make some good money! :woohoo:
I don't know what the odds will be, anyway, I am going to bet on Vaidisova. She is hot! She is carrying a great momentum through last 3 tournament!
If the qualifyng opponent is really really good, then, with a bit of luck, she might beat Mauresmo or Dementieva or even Sharapova. (I wouldn't be surprised if that's happened, anyway.)
However, I don't believe that there is any qualifier who is able to beat Vaidisova at the moment. She is a female Ljubicic! :worship:
Yoel and co. 10-30-2005, 06:50 PM As far as I could see, Nicole isn't playing on Monday...
From the men's point of view I find a lot of matches really hard to call. The only match where there is a clear favourite is Rosedski vs Seppi, but I doubt the odds will be worth it
All other matches tomorrow seem too close to me.
I mean, you can't even trust Vleigen to lose anymore
flmmkrz 10-30-2005, 08:03 PM I cant find odds on it anywhere yet but the sched has Berdych playing Novak, hopefully the odds have Berdych as the underdog cause this should be a cakewalk with Novaks current form.

I'm looking for that one too lol!
Yoel - Greg could lose that. This week has huge bearing for him and British tennis. He is under and pressure and scraped a win against Seppi a few months ago on a hardcourt...
Grinder 10-30-2005, 08:18 PM Right now I'm only planning on playing:
20 units on Mirnyi x Haas x Blake x Kiefer @ 3.97
The odds for Mathieu/Sanguinetti are tempting but I'm not touching that match.
adee-gee 10-30-2005, 08:19 PM  my Magnificent Mathieu Monday thread got ditched in favour of this!
My love affair with PHM will continue when he demolishes Sanguinetti. I'm aware the formbook isn't too favourable, but PHM is a top indoor player, and will turn on the style for the home fans.
PHM :inlove: to beat Sanguinetti at 2.00 (Will Hill), another one of my infamously huge stakes.

He's back :) :)
No PHM for me...it's true that you can never know with Davide (as I painfully learnt last week), but I don't think PHM is a top indoor player...and I definitely can see the home fans having the opposite effect on him
Thanks for the info Jez :) as it is, I don't think the odds for Greg will be good enough. Berdych is probably given @ 1.35, so not tempting either

Indeed, and with a bang. PHM has 2 titles to his name, both on indoor :)
I've also taken 300/1 on him winning the tournament as well by the way :p

Come on...that was 17 years ago. Look at his HC record this year (and don't be fooled by the wins over Ginepri and Roddick).
I'm not saying he won't win vs Davide, but he is not a top class HC player

He hasn't had the best year admittedly. His game matches up well against Sanguinetti, and he has the home crowd. Plus he doesn't lose when I back him though :p

23. 2 ATP titles at the ages of 6 is pretty impressive :o

jen_nz 10-31-2005, 03:24 AM Sorry, guys, about this stupid heading~ :wavey: I was hoping to bet on Vaidi. However she isn't playing.
Well, I guess I had better take a rest and wait until tomorrow since there isn't any player who I can put my trust on. I had a look at Rusedski, but he is too old. I had a look at Berdych, then, he hasn't been Berdych lately.
So ... Good luck to all the courageous gamblers ! I have to regret tomorrow when I hear that you guys have made good money. ;)

lol you sure sports bettings the place for your money then, u might be better off with a savings bond :p
To make any sort of profit at 1.04 you'd need a minimum of 10k to show anything resembling a tangible amount of profit and if you're betting 10k plus to make a few hundred bucks I dont wanna see you on the day that fed or kimmy goes down in the first round

That's my worst nightmare, indeed! :explode: ( I don't like 1st round, so don't worry. I might be hit in the 2nd round, though.)
Unfortunately, saving bond doesn't give me 4% interest for 1 day. Probably I have to lock the fund for at least 6 months to get that. :)
I have never bet $10k on anything in my life!!! My record was $7k, and that was only once on Federer and kim against nobody!!!

Dude you let your favourite players, rule your head. how can anyone in the right mind back PHM?????
Come on he was beaton by J Benneteu (spelling) in Stolckholm 6-1 6-3!!!!
PHM is class but you don't put big bets on nutcases like this guy, he could well win, but i very much doubt it i am on Davide!!!!!
Is this demolish job similar to the Berdych Rochus game a couple of weeks ago!!!

Davide on this surface is far from a lock. This match to me is 50-50, if PHM comes out flat Davide wins, if PHM comes out with any sort of form at all he wins as he's got a better suited game to the surface imo. Thus to me the values with phm.

I back players that have served me well in the past. PHM has been an absolute money cow for me this year, I can't tell you how much he's won me. Add to that the fact that the surface, venue, and match-up are all in favour of him and I think 2.00 is an astonishingly good price.
