I dont know if it was so much close as it was costa losing focus and just tanking the 2nd set. Costa looks to be in solid form, anywhere but the dirt and im avoiding this bet but here I like his chances. To be sure tho i'd have to see the odds and I havent seen them up yet.

1. Rochus is fresh now, he is a strong fav against Berdych, imo.

2. It will be a close game imo, Mario has chance, it's a good value bet I think.

3. As you said, Pippo is unpredictable. 2.35 is too good to refuse.

No....but reading the transcript of todays play on MTF....it seemed he was going for broke with his shots + he kinda tanked the 2nd set.

In this case I would have backed Canas, Coria, Nadal, Gonzo and Gaudio against "tired" Puerta, but certainy NOT Mayer to beat Puerta. Puerta is a big fighter and i really don't think he's tired. Just look at Ljubo earlier this season, he was playing something like 4 tournies in a row. Mayer hasn't really shown anything on clay this season compared to Puerta's impressive wins last week.
