What do you think about a big stake on a Safin, Ljuicic, VW, Henin, Safina, Molik parlay? It is a 2.06 odds.
bad gambler 03-24-2005, 08:41 PM should win mate IMO

Can you tell me who they're all playing I'm too lazy to check out the draw
NATAS81 03-24-2005, 08:42 PM What's a parlay?
All of those names should like winners in their first round. :yeah:

They should all win but those odds are extremely tight. Is Safin worth the risk at 1.10 against my beloved Irakli, I'm not sure. I'm not happy with the odds but I'd imagine the bet will probably come off
NATAS81 03-24-2005, 08:50 PM Be careful Labadze doesn't bet against himself.

Ale10 03-24-2005, 08:53 PM Labadze can beat Younes only in 3...
adeegee 03-24-2005, 08:55 PM Safin is a risk against Irakli?
You never know with Marat. Irakli's not actually that bad, Safin only just beat Niemenen last week who's got an almost identical game to Labadze. Obviously Safin is more than likely to win but 1.10???
I'm just having a look at 2nd round matches.....I don't like doing a lot of small odds people. I like doing doubles or trebles on slightly higher odds.
Nadal to beat Schuettler
Robredo to beat Bjorkman
Davydenko to beat Monfils
Pavel to beat Andreev
They're all in the bottom half of the draw which I'm guessing will prob be tomorrow
jackieglover 03-24-2005, 08:56 PM Safin is a risk against Irakli?

SwiSha 03-24-2005, 08:59 PM Ale ..i think it s not worth to bet on matches with such low odds...i d rather loose my money to higher odds ...you gonna regret if one of those matches won t come off..so be careful
Ale10 03-24-2005, 09:19 PM I don't like little odds, but these matches are almost sure bets, I think.
NATAS81 03-24-2005, 09:24 PM Let's hope Safin doesn't have friends who know Labadze, could throw the match.
Looking at:
Nadal
Davydenko
Robredo
Ferrer
Youzhny
El Legenda 03-24-2005, 10:00 PM Anyone else bet on Bodog.com 1.10 for Ivan
Cervantes 03-24-2005, 10:02 PM Definitely Robredo seems like a good bet, Bjorkman plays like shit lately and h2h is 3-0. I also fancy Youzhny, Nadal, Davydenko and Novak.
bad gambler 03-24-2005, 10:05 PM A robredo/nadal parlay itself is enough value for me to have a go at

I think I will add Davydenko into that one

Davydenko
Robredo
Ferrer
Youzhny
Why Ferrer?
MrOschie 03-24-2005, 11:05 PM i think about my bets tomorrow =) but there are 2-3-4 that look interesting
gravity 03-24-2005, 11:28 PM Nalbandian is huge value tomorrow. If you didn't know already, it's been announced on MTF he's going to win the whole tournament.
Ale10 03-24-2005, 11:31 PM My bets:
1. Ljubicic x Safin (x Henin x VW x SW x Molik x Sharapova)
2. Davydenko (x Zuluaga)
3. Robredo x Nadal
Ferrer is a big time grinder. Malisse has a tendency to not show up mentally, and Ferrer will gladly take the match if he doesn't.
I am so livid about Berdych currently though, I just need to take a break and come back later to make my plays for tomorrow.
tennisman. 03-25-2005, 12:34 AM Nadal and Ljubi are a good parlay for tomorrow

bad gambler 03-25-2005, 04:37 AM confidence has been shattered thus far so I'm playing it safe tomorrow with the following plays....

pavel to beat andreev - $1.70
El Legenda 03-25-2005, 05:33 AM parlay robredo/nadal/ljubicic - pays $2.32
im going for that.....any suggestion on how much?

I guess every dog has his day eventually :)
heres what im doing for tommorow.
small bet on blake over moya. Moyas played well so I suspect he'll drop form eventually and blakes due for a big win why not here. That being said im not banking huge on it.
I like ginepri over spadea
I dont want anywhere near the nadal match I hope he wins it but schuettler is hard to predict and I think the courts may give him the edge as slow as they're playing.
Robredo over bjorkman seems to be a lock. Hate to see bjork go tho he helped me win alot over mirnyi :worship:
malisse over ferrer, although a headcase ferrer doesnt have the weapons to hurt him.
youzhny over lee, nice win for lee last round, a little more reliable of a player this round.
my mind is saying johansson over rusedski but their head to head is quite odd with thomas winning almost all the faster court matches on carpet and grass, but greg winning on hard courts. Add thomas's results of losing to serve volley guys all year im backing greg, lets go big man.
ljubs another lock, him and robredo most likely will be a parlay might throw will likely throw a bunch of women in there to pile up the odds.
At least thats what im thinkin right now i'll confirm when I see the odds on them all.
bad gambler 03-25-2005, 05:38 AM im going for that.....any suggestion on how much?
depends on what your "bank size" is....how much are you willing to lose in the worst case scenario
but put it this way - if either of those players lose I will be very very suprised :)
Lawrence3175 03-25-2005, 05:45 AM I just put a chunk on Davydenko and Pavel, both single bets...i appreciate some thoughts on them
flmmkrz 03-25-2005, 06:13 AM im going for that.....any suggestion on how much?
yeah take out nadal and bet the house on it
he should win and I hope he does but big loopy swings, schuettlers not a horrible hard court player, not in great form but then do you always need to be to beat a clay court stud on the hard stuff? Somethin about that match scares me, course this time tommorrow Nadal would've won and you'll all be laughin at me but tis the way betting is.
SwiSha 03-25-2005, 08:45 AM Okay lets make some money today fellas !!!!
Nadal + Robredo + Ivan + perhaps Davydenko? (Big)
Moya + ToJo + Pavel + and maybe Ferrer (small)
Good Luck to ALL
Labadze v Safin 2 1.10
Ljubicic v Martin A. 1 1.14
Henin-Hardenne J. v Spears A. 1 1.14
Molik v Pratt 1 1.10
Williams V. v Groenefeld A.-L. 1 1.10
Safina D. v Irvin 1 1.19
2.06
you dont have three time defending champ s.williams in there?
your safin and henin-hardenne picks really spice up the excite factor i think.
tonight for me ; molik and serena single bets commiting 40% of bank each + molik/serena double commiting 10% of bank. :wavey:
have noticed at my bookie that ljubicics price has dropped from 1.18 to 1.13 and bounced back up to 1.16.
some contrasting opinion on ljubicic'c knee maybe???

Mate the 1st one is exactly what I'm looking at. Maybe without Ivan though his odds are too low for my liking. I'm loving the looks of Nadal, Robredo and Davydenko though.
I wouldn't advise the 2nd one, I like Pavel to beat Andreev. But Moya could easily lose to Blake, Tojo is too inconsistent and you never know what Malisse will do. I'd def do the 1st one.
I'm just doing some more research I'll get my picks up in about 15 mins

NATAS81 03-25-2005, 01:47 PM Looking to avenge an absolutely horrid Thursday with the big Russian Youzhny. Hoping the Maf isn't in on this one. Similar YTD records though I feel the Jap hasn't been challenged overseas and will find it difficult especially with a year wiser Mikaihl (even after Youzh took him in 3 last year). Lee is aging fast. (Gosh there's alot of Lee's in the ATP)
Gonna look for the big bang early and pocket $$ towards big Ivan, Andy later in the day.

adeegee 03-25-2005, 04:56 PM After a nightmare start I'm back in business. Robredo back from 4-0 to 4-4 :) and Davydenko's pulled back the early break
jackieglover 03-25-2005, 04:58 PM Let's hope for this big treble to hit!
adeegee 03-25-2005, 05:06 PM Almost unbelievably Robredo wins the 1st set 6-4 from 4-0 down :worship: Davydenko went a break down again but broke back he trails *2-3
Ale10 03-25-2005, 05:11 PM I come home, Tommy and Davy are starting to play.
adeegee 03-25-2005, 05:40 PM I'm starting to think this could be my day. Robredo comes back from 4-0 and wins 12 straight games, and Davydenko twice comes back from a break down to take the 1st set. Looks like it could come down to young Rafa, c'mon son
Ale10 03-25-2005, 05:42 PM I'm starting to think this could be my day. Robredo comes back from 4-0 and wins 12 straight games, and Davydenko twice comes back from a break down to take the 1st set. Looks like it could come down to young Rafa, c'mon son
Davy's match is not over yet. But I will really surprised, if he couldn't win.
NATAS81 03-25-2005, 05:42 PM Robredo saves my career.
But a big FU to Lokhovtseva for not winning sooner to throw all my Robredo $$ on Ljube :fiery:
GO Daveed.
jackieglover 03-25-2005, 05:56 PM Kolya is imploding
Ale10 03-25-2005, 06:00 PM I said that match is not over...
SwiSha 03-25-2005, 06:06 PM c mon Kolya .
Robredo won ..i need Kolya and Rafa just like adeegee
adeegee 03-25-2005, 06:12 PM Good god Davydenko is causing major headaches at the start of the 3rd.
Ale10 03-25-2005, 06:16 PM The match is over now...
SwiSha 03-25-2005, 06:49 PM thx davydenko for fallin apart ...
SwiSha 03-25-2005, 06:50 PM should have just played a huge single on robredo ...
Is anyone contemplating putting more on Nadal to make up for this bullshit?
Or maybe wait for tomorrow? I need to check tomorrow's match ups I guess.
jackieglover 03-25-2005, 06:52 PM Miami has been brutal. Of course, I had Kolya across the board, so all my bets lose. :retard:

You know at the beginning of the day i was pretty confident that Nadal is goin to win this easily ... but Miami has been so frustrating for me so it would fit perfect if Schuettler would play his A Game to beat Nadal ...
Juanito 03-25-2005, 07:03 PM I can't imagine Schuettler beating Nadal, he hasn't played one good match this year. I'm very big on Rafa.
adeegee 03-25-2005, 07:14 PM I've just recovered from the Davydenko match. An absolute sickener. Nightmare day for me so far.
I've gone mad and put a lot on Rafa to win with a -3 handicap
I'm just going to let my existing Nadal bets ride.
I think I might do a decent sized single on Coria tomorrow and stop there. I am so sick of this tournament right now.

I think I might do a decent sized single on Coria tomorrow and stop there. I am so sick of this tournament right now.
I'd been doing great up until today's nonsense. Looking ahead to tomorrow, I was thinking Phau could be value at 3.25 but apparently the court is extremely slow. Even so, Gaston's record on hard courts is absolutely awful. Coria's money in the bank he'll never lose to Sanguinetti. There's not a lot of great matches tomorrow, either in terms of 'definites' or 'value' picks
NATAS81 03-25-2005, 07:20 PM Radal shouldn't break a sweat. Luckily Robredo and Ljube bailed out the fluke winners from yesterday.
The only bright patch frankly is that Robredo didn't get embarassed by Bjorkman.
NATAS81 03-25-2005, 07:22 PM I can see many people betting too much with these odds, though. The big $$ is to be made on FedEx tomorrow.
NATAS81 03-25-2005, 07:23 PM Spoke too soon, Verdasco breaks A-Rod! Time to jump into OOP thread and cheer on Duckster.
NATAS81 03-25-2005, 07:23 PM He'll be 1.10 at best?
I see your point. You gotta have big cheese to gain on Fed. I'll check the schedule post-Roddick.
adeegee 03-25-2005, 07:24 PM Federer is 1.05 at my bookies tomorrow. That's not the way to make big bucks. NATAS81 do you bet real money or only v-cash?
Has anyone seen any Coria odds yet? Probably 1.20, 1.25 if lucky?
adeegee 03-25-2005, 07:51 PM 1.22 i saw
Oh well, I'll hit it. Not really right up my alley, but this tournament does make me sick.
bad gambler 03-25-2005, 07:56 PM ouch sorry about the davy loss fellas - he is just showed why he is so weak and toothless
ouch sorry about the davy loss fellas - he is just showed why he is so weak and toothless
The Toothless Ukrainian Cum Russian has cost me more than once. Ugh!
adeegee 03-25-2005, 08:00 PM ouch sorry about the davy loss fellas - he is just showed why he is so weak and toothless
:wavey:
not my day today. davydenko was an absolute sickener. all my eggs are in young rafa's basket to make today not so bad
bad gambler 03-25-2005, 08:05 PM rafa is my last leg of the safe (well hope so!) parlay i have so am quietly confident I will collect today in miami
Went on Nadal more to make up for the toothless Russian, hopefully things go well.
SwiSha 03-25-2005, 08:13 PM Man i m still so mad ..he ruined ma day ...i gotta make some on BBall today then
bad gambler 03-25-2005, 08:52 PM bjorkman was up 4-0 and then proceeded to lose 4 & 0?
thank god i was asleep, when he was 4-0 up i would have been pulling my hair out
bjorkman was up 4-0 and then proceeded to lose 4 & 0?
thank god i was asleep, when he was 4-0 up i would have been pulling my hair out
It was hilarious stuff man. At the end of the day Bjorkman had won 9% of his second serve points.
Ale10 03-25-2005, 09:15 PM My bets so far today:
1. Ljubicic x Safin (x Henin x VW x SW x Molik x Sharapova)
2. Davydenko (x Zuluaga)
3. Robredo x Nadal
adeegee 03-25-2005, 09:50 PM I'm sweating already about Nadal and it ain't gonna be starting for about an hour. I've tried to recoup all my losses for the day by putting a fortune on Nadal with a -3 handicap
bad gambler 03-25-2005, 09:51 PM I'm sweating already about Nadal and it ain't gonna be starting for about an hour. I've tried to recoup all my losses for the day by putting a fortune on Nadal with a -3 handicap
nadal to win 3 & 2
SwiSha 03-25-2005, 09:52 PM May Nadal do us proud.
May Rainer continue to struggle
adeegee 03-25-2005, 09:54 PM Anyone know what happened with Malisse how on earth did he manage to get defaulted when he was up a set
bad gambler 03-25-2005, 09:55 PM i believe it was an injury.... still unsure though
SwiSha 03-25-2005, 09:56 PM Anyone know what happened with Malisse how on earth did he manage to get defaulted when he was up a set
Short translation: Malisse started really well and took the first set easily. In the second set Ferrer played betterbetter. Nobody lost his serve, and so it was 5-5. But then Malisse was defaulted after 2 warnings.
What happened exactly at 5-5 in the second set with Xavier Malisse? Apparently he didn't agree on a decision of a line judge. Malisse entered into a discussion with the line judge, but went on to play afterwards. Out of miscontentment, he made couple of foot faults afterwards. This lead to a first warning.
This made Malisse so angry that he started insulting a line judge. What he said exactly wasn't know, but apparently it was bad enough to lead to a second warning. After two warnings, the player is defaulted.
adeegee 03-25-2005, 09:57 PM but next to Roddick it says retired. And next to Malisse it says walkover  man if i had money on him at a bookie that paid out after 1 set i'd be furious i hope none of you guys are in that situation
adeegee 03-25-2005, 09:59 PM Swisha I thought the rules were you get 1 warning, then if you get warned again its a point penalty, then if you get another its a game penalty, and then you get defaulted?
flmmkrz 03-25-2005, 10:27 PM well when it rain it pours. I won jcf today and placed a scary amount of my bank on a venus/serena/sharapova parlay lol wanted to show something for the day. Have another with serena/henin/sharapova/puerta also backed very heavy. But the losses were crazy today, lost on rusedski, blake ( shoulda had that one ), zvonareva cost me a ton in another parlay a 7 player parlay in which if she had won and serena won would've been completed for a huge payday, plus another 2 small parlays, stupid me for betting wta non top 5er, malisse I dunno what he did, ginepri lost, youzhny showed up only in body not mind. Ugly day, if serena wins and puerta wins thus completing my remaining parlays I come out about even for the day and still up for the tourny. So come on puerta and serena. And of course im betting still on schuettler :p
tommorrow has to be better than this.
adeegee 03-25-2005, 10:32 PM looks like everyone's had a pretty rough day. save it rafa :p
fisherking 03-25-2005, 10:55 PM looks like everyone's had a pretty rough day. save it rafa :p
Actually I had not bad - lost on Nieminen, but Spaniard team worked well. Finally I bet on Nando, Ferrero, Ferrer, and Robredo + Rafa (2-leg-paraly)
I bet on Betfair and they work with 1st set-completed-rule so tickets on Nando and Ferrer are winning;
Now only wait for Rafa;
At the first sight for tomorrow (sorry, today - where I am is saturday now):
Zaba and Clement looks the best
Lapentti sounds good
Mello?
adeegee 03-25-2005, 11:03 PM Lucky lucky lucky on Ferrer!
I think Clement has a great shot at beating Lopez. Zabaleta/Srichaphan is tough to call, if the court is as slow as everyone's saying I'd give Zaba the edge.
Lapentti had a good result but he's 1-6 against Grosjean and has been hammered the last few meetings I'd leave it alone. Mello has a chance, you never know with Mario
jackieglover 03-25-2005, 11:06 PM Mello should have lots of support in FLA and the slow court will hurt Ancic a little bit, but iffy bet still, IMHO
Ale10 03-26-2005, 12:19 AM Vamos Rafa!
Break now, make us happy!
Ale10 03-26-2005, 01:44 AM VAMOS RAFA!
NATAS81 03-26-2005, 02:15 AM Rafa completes the day on which I accounted for Thursday. Straight sets but tough win over GER. :woohoo:
Leaving Safin/Labadze for the purists.
Holy hell that Nadal win was tight.
adeegee 03-26-2005, 02:30 AM Nadal's saved the pants off me. I'm still well down for the day but if he'd lost.....I'd have been mightily f****d
MrOschie 03-26-2005, 02:34 AM i finaly made + on this tournament

Hard day, but good day. Thanks for all my men and women. :)
