20.10.2004 : Glücksbringer
„Luftschläge“ sind drin, mehr nicht. Langsam geht’s mir auf die Nerven, aber ich muss die Ruhe bewahren. Die Ballberührung mit dem Schläger, gar ein kraftvoller Schlag übers Netz wäre schon zu viel. Dazu ist der Arm noch nicht wieder bereit. Ich bin voll in der Rekonvaleszenz. Ich arbeite viel, täglich. Und doch hänge ich auch rum. Wie gerne wäre ich jetzt in Madrid. Oder kommende Woche in Basel, dann in Paris. Aber mein Manager Ulf Dahlstrom musste alle Turnier-Teilnahmen absagen. Dafür besuche ich 96 oder die Scorpions. Sogar vor dem Spiel war ich bei den Ice-Cracks in der Kabine, habe Glück gewünscht, Mut gemacht – ein 6:0-Sieg war die Folge. Als Glückbringer eigne ich mich also.
"Hitting without ball" is possible, but not more. That's really annoying, but I must stay calm. The touch of the ball with my racket or even a powerful stroke over the net would be already too much. For that, the arm is not yet ready. I'm in the middle of anastasis. I'm working much, daily. And nevertheless I'm also hanging around a lot. But how would I love to be in Madrid now. Or next week in Basel, then in Paris. But my manager Ulf Dahlstrom had to cancel all my tournament entries. Instead I'm visiting the 96ers or the Scorpions. Before their game I was even in their locker room, I wished them good luck and encouraged them - as a result they won 6:0. Therefore I'm a good talisman.
