Nadal or Canas Sunday

I made such a killing today, thought I could afford a little flutter, without letting it get to my head too much.

I see this match going to 3 sets as both Nadal and Canas are quality. I think Rafa will be the eventual winner, but I think Willy can take a set off him for sure. Both have similar styles of play, so we should be in for a long one.

I have put on Nadal to win 2-1 @ 7/2
and
Canas to win 2-1 @ 12/1

Even if there is s straight sets win, I will still have made a good amount today to be satisfied.

I will probably won't bet on this match..Rafa should win this any time but hasn't been convincing last 2 matches, Canas however, wasn't that good and is having some fitness issues so isn't worthy to bet on either.

I think it will be a dissapointing match with defensive tennis and a 2-0 win for Nadal..

I will give it a good night's sleep and maybe change my opinion a bit in the morning ;)

Ok lets face it. Canas thinks he is a big shot (after beating #1 twice), and most of the rest of the world is also in the same boat. If Canas is not afraid of Federer why should he be afraid of Nadal??

Now the question is if the fear factor is taken out, can he beat Nadal??

Mathieu can't lose here surely, Montanes lost 2 sets and lost them 6-1 in this tournament. Mathieu's 2nd serve has been good all the way through the tournament and its much better than Montanes. If Montanes loses the first set this time Mathieu must win the next set or that Montanes wil do something like 6-1 down then comeback and win the match. Who ever wins the first set will win the title as simple as that in my opinion.

I'd expect Nadal to dispose of Canas with a similar scoreline to his defeat of Ferrer today.

I agree with kinster about Mathieu...but I can't bring myself to back Paulo :silly: Odds are too short for a single atm, especially given that he isn't the Tour's most mentally strong specimen.

Betting on Mathieu as a pretty heavy favorite is asking for anxiety attacks.

Nadal will kill Canas.

Mathieu is this kind of player who is great to back as a dog but awful to back as a fav.

Mathieu tried to go wandering in the second set but Gicquel bombed him with unforced errors (including at set point up)and Paulo eventually woke up to close out the match.Therefore Montanes @ 2.92 is worth a bet in my eyes, considering that he has some weapons to trouble Mathieu in case he doesn't play his best.

What the fuck kind of line is this? Anyways, the line makes absolutely no sense but since you stupid sons of bitches are in the mood to giveaway free money, I'll come at you arms wide open. I have been on Montanes the last two rounds and both times he has been cash money. Maybe the oddsmakers figure that because Montanes was one game away from losing to RRH, he is finished and has no chance in this match. Well thats pretty damn stupid and im sick and tired of watching all the sheeps follow the heard over the ledge. First of all, as well as Mathieu has played this week, he has head problems and he usually chokes when it comes to winning big matches. I mean his only true win in this tournament was against Jose Acasuso who has looked like trash lately anyways. Other than that he beat Kristian Pless, some ass clown ranked #163 and Marc Gicquel (who the fuck is that?) in the semis. So basically he hasn't played against a real tennis player yet. Montanes on the other hand has wins over Nico Massu and Dominator which right away indicates that he has the better pedigree heading into this one. Montanes is 0-3 lifetime in ATP Tournament finals but that's not concerning because he now has an urgency to finally grab that elusive first win. PHM has not been in an ATP Final since 2003 and has not won one since 2002. His head brain has shrunk a lot since then and this is the perfect finals opponent for Montanes. OLA CABRON...go grab this french fairy and chop his balls off for the Title!

Nadal vs Canas...no value n taking Nadal at 1.07.......and no value in taking an injured Canas either......if he has no injuries he may stand a chance at Ferrer and Starace has shwn in previous two matches he may start to tire as the clay season goes on.........will wait for the Next match up (which i suspect will be very soon)to take Canas.....once he recovers from injury........

Luis Horna 1.40 over Sam Querrey: Hahahaha...okay now this is another one of those funny matches where some people are putting way too much value into an underdog who is almost certainly going to get smashed. I know Horna has had all sorts of injuries in the past few months but from what I have read he is good to go and even if he comes out here at 50%, he should have no problems beating this clown Querrey. I know the match meant virtually nothing but Horna did manage to beat Guillermo Canas back in Buenos Aires and he showed some big ass balls in that one. He also looked impressive in beating David Nalbandian in that same tournament so right there we know that when he is game, Horna can pretty much beat a lot of players on this surface. Like I said before, I know leg injuries have been a huge problem for him lately but this is the beginning of his warmups to the French Open and now that is healed, he should be good for a few nice runs in these tournaments. Querrey on the other hand comes into this match with a 2-5 record on clay the last 12 months. Pathetic. I mean he got his ass kicked by Crazy Dan Koellerer a few weeks back and unless Horna re-aggravates an injury or something, there is no chance of him winning this match. I am well aware that Queer could make a match out of this but I just don't see it. He looks like a cracked out version of Green Day's lead singer and im sick and tired of seeing this wannabe clay courter enter some of these tournaments. Don't let the door hit you on the way out idiot.
