Does anyone feel that some players are their soulmates?

Perfection

I know it may sound strange, but when I see some players oncourt, I feel a very strong connection. Their body language, the way they look at things, etc. all point me to loving them.

I really think Guillermo Canas is my soulmate... I have a very strong desire for him. Lately I've been going to bed with 2 pillows bundled up in an electric blanket and holding it while saying "oooh Gaston, please.." over and over.

If only one day it could really happen. :(

What about you? :wavey:

J'torian, you know I love you (and your avatar is so bloody hot!!!), but you're going to have to fight me for Tommy. If you want him, you must get me Juan Carlos, then, and only then, will I happily hand Tommy over hehe.

Honestly, I think Juan Carlos would be the best friend you could ever have, somewhat fun and he's so easy to talk to. I reckon he'd be very trustworthy, but I could never imagine myself in a relationship with him (which is somewhat good because at least I haven't got my hopes up.)

Tommy Robredo would be the perfect boyfriend though. I reckon he'd do absolutely anything for his girlfriend, whoever ends up with him would be one lucky woman. Tommy seems the really romantic type. It doesn't hurt to dream does it hehe.

And I suppose if you wanted some fun, Fernando Gonzalez, he'd be wild as anything.

-Powerful and passionate
-Exciting and magnetic

On the dark side:
-Jealous and resentful
-Compulsive and obsessive

Well, 'soulmate' goes too far for me as I realize I don't actually KNOW any of these players at all - but talking about 'role models', I'd say, yes, I have at least two - those people (two of them come to mind right now ) who admit that one can actually admire one's rival without being nasty to each other - or even more, being rightout FRIENDLY to one another when not on-court. :worship:

Modernly Amused, I certainly won't dismiss your post as rubbish (alhtough confusing the name of your soulmate leaves me suspicious...I'm a detective as well as a superhero you see), however while I do care a great deal about my fvourite player/s I would'nt say that I feel like any of them are a soulmate, TBH I don't feel like I have a soulmate at all and I'm not sure that I believe in the whole idea of soulmates. But I consider myslef to be open-minded so who knows
I find it interesting how people (myself included) can feel a strong affinity to an athlete or team, almost at risk of sounding like Gill Grissom there and I would say more but would be at risk of descending into babble talk. In terms of the opposite sex, I guess that even through the TV screen attraction is strong, but probably (or definately) one way.
Anyhow some tennis players really seem to love their fans, others are'nt so bothered.... oh no I've descended into that damn babbling... damn 6 years of higher level english was useless.... better go and listen to some John Mayer to calm myslef down  :silly:  :rocker:

Yeah I guess some players actually are kinda freaked out by how into them some fans are, some players love it though. I guess it all depends on your point of view... ``wow, it's amazing how much this person care about me`` or ``man I've never even met you before, what the hell...``

Well, if you had to rank the top 33 of the top 100 female tennis players in terms of attractiveness say, there would certainly be no Kuznetsove and I really don't think Jankovic either. Then again its subjective so if you think that all i can say is that you have an unconventional taste in women.

well since they are just tennis players, and therefore human beings and not gods, they must have their own soul mates out there somewhere, though not necessarily ppl from mtf...doesn't mean you have to be a freak or stalker.
