If possessing number 1 talent were the only criterion for being called "special", those lucky enough to be labelled as such would be on a very short list then. ;)

At the top of the men's game for weeks on end, financially secure, two majors, 18 (?) titles all together...all before the ripe old age of 21? Sounds pretty special to me. :)

Neither of those. As a newly-registered member of MTF there is no rule that states I am limited to a certain number of posts a day. There are a lot of interesting threads here on this forum, and it certainly isn't a crime to reply to them.

P.S. What was the point in bringing up the fact that I'm a newly-registered member of this forum? I don't quite see what you were trying to do.

Careful, they will eat you alive for saying that.

Rafa doesn't run so much because he also tries moving the opponent around by turning his backhand to hit with the forehand. Canas frustrates opposition by playing Iron Man tennis and only at few opportunistic times does he go for a winner. Gruesome game on his wrists and body but I think the W at the end of the day is what's more interesting to him.

This is really stupid. Rafa has only completed the first chapter of his career. That's not worth a book. Hell, it'd be cheesy if Fed issued out a autobiography right now, even though he's had 8 full years on tour.

Ehm, we should not forget this is a BIOGRAPHY, not an autobiography - any an author who wants to make money could write such a thing. And it's no secret that there are a lot of fans out there willing to read the thing, so... money makes the world go round, once again.

It's not fair to blame Rafa for this.

Please provide them with your data and analysis, you'd be doing something great for the sport. Do you have your own lab and everything?

Hello Naldo ! I agree with you that for me it's a bit soon to right a biography about a 20 year old tennis player, even if he is ranked number 2 in the world. I am a Rafa fan but so many things can happen ... Maybe he will improve a lot and surprise us or maybe he will have injuries or he will not win all his clay court tournament this year and it will not be exactly the same.

But it's a biography so Rafa has nothing to do with that, although he authorized it of course. The positive thing is that part of the money in selling the book will go to a foundation that Rafa will have.

Another tennis fan from Montreal :wavey:
