Almagro could definately be a major force this year but he'll have to play more consistently than he did in South America. Potentially, he's a top 5 dirt baller.

He's defending champion here so he needs a good week - and lets hope 12 months on he makes more of a general impact on the clay - QFs to Federer in Rome was his best showing in an otherwise pretty low-key season last year, and losing to Blake at RG - oh dear.

anyone who draws hajek can expect a result like this.

if almagro sorted his attitude out a bit more he can really be on of the great clay players and he would be more liked as well

He engaged in a macho competition with Blake to prove that he can outhit him, then deservedly lost. It is a question of maturing for him, he can certainly be dangerous for everybody if he becomes more mature.

Exactly what I was thinking, He could be very,very dangerous at roland garros, especially as an unseeded floater. Wouldnt federer and nadal like to avoid this guy.
