I know very few people care about this tie but I thought I'd post this result since two top 20 players are involved.

Marcos won both his singles matches in straight sets and lost the doubles in 4 sets. The final result lies in the hands of Kallias (888) and Paukku (774) (who took Marcos to a 3rd set tie-break on Friday).

The tie is taking place in Cyprus on clay outdoors.

Come on Marco, get a good clay season going this year! :unsure:

Timo Nieminen (375) ended up playing the 5th rubber and beat Kallias. :(

At least Greece def. Ukraine 3-2 :lol:

Oh, and these ties are part of the Europe/Africa Zone Group II (1st round)

I think the other Nieminen is playing in the 5th rubber. Maybe Timo?
