*... tough choice, I like both songs
Dire Straits - Money for nothing vs Prince - Purple Rain
*Dire Straits have been many good songs in the 80s but not "Money for nothing"
Frankie goes to Hollywood - Relax vs A-Ha - Take on me
* another tough choice, but I give a vote on A-ha (one of the first clips I had seen)
Eurythmics - Sweet Dreams vs Guns 'n Roses - Sweet child o' mine
* similar situation to Dire Straits, I like many songs of Eurythmics from the 80s but not this one, but on the other hand, Sweet Child is a No. 2 in the seeds, so I would like to see a final without a favourite :p

I'm surprised about these remaining songs in the tournament. I had really expected some of the one hit wonders songs from the 80ies would make it far, like "The final countdown" from Europe or stuff like that.

Guns 'n Roses is going to win which is a joke.

I will say it again and again and again and again and friggin again. If we all liked the same things the world would be BLOODY BORING!!!!!!

To be honest, I hated the film clip to Thriller more than I disliked the song. It was long and boring and frankly as I was a child at the time it fucking scared me. But by all means like it as much as you want because you are allowed an opinion just like I am.

who cares what you hate or not? you said "take on me" is the BEST film clip of the 80's (you even wrote that in caplocks). that doesn't sound like your own opinion. more like a fact but it's a wrong fact. we all know which videoclip was awarded as the best videoclip ever and which album is the album of the millenium. i can even list you more video clips by michael jackson of the 80's which are better than "take on me".
