Good first set, Andy

Second set - :help:

note for future matches - it's not good to lead by a break THREE times and be broken back each time.

Jesus wept.

Take the win, forget the match

Good first set, Andy

Second set - HELP!

I know right? Dunno if it was due to Goldstein's increased play or Murray having a little of a choke. Anyways, he was able to close it out another match in dramatic fashion.

Maybe he was trying new things - 7 double faults suggests he might have been going for his serves more or his serve might have collapsed.

Would know if we had been able to watch it.

That boy will be the death of me. What's wrong with a nice 62 62? eh?

Jeez. Sort it out Andy - you're better than that.

Ugly second set. The plus point is that the serve can't get any worse than that so it's all uphill from here. :yeah:

He just needs to go out and dish out a bagel to Kendrick again and make up for the second set.

Well done Andy.

It is reported that either Andy had an ankle injury in that match or was suffering from tiredness.
On the BBC website he says he was struggling with tiredness, lack of practice due to letting his injuries recover, and the change in conditions between Indian Wells and Miami. Hopefully he'll be better for Sunday's match.

According to The BBC this morning the Murray/Kendrick match is this evening.

I have a horrible feeling this is a great big banana skin for Andy.

I never trust the Brittish media when it comes to reporting on our players playing overseas.

Apparently Andy won 7-5 in the second set last night according to my newspaper.

Andy won't play until Sunday - there's no third round matches on today's schedule.
