Agassi Memoir Fetching Upwards of $4M

Andre Agassi's memoir is being fought over by several publishing houses, with bids reaching as high as $4M US.

According to Publishers Weekly (, Agassi, his agent Richard Pine and a bunch of publishers all met in Las Vegas last week and the publishers were given a tour of Agassi's school.

It might be a good book. If he receives 4$ million dollars for it, there'd better be some unheard stories and photos and so on. The McEnroe book was good, he really talked openly about many things. Becker's book was also good.

I just think that often these kind of books are nothing more than chronological descriptions of players' careers. And they don't offer much to fans who have followed a certain player's career for a long time.
