Check out McEnroe in this video:eek:
Does he really care about a round robin seniors event so much that he feels the need to swear multiple times at age 48:rolleyes:
Is Bad Mac on drugs:confused:
Is he looking to repeat his glory/infamous days:confused:
Just pure attention seeking:devil:

At his age playing on senior he should be embarrased, I was for him. Young players on the ATP losing it you can understand but a man his age playing in seniors. Sorry - it wasn't an entertaining spectacle just something that made me cringe.

You would also think he would improve with age - that was still no where near the quality of Rusedski's outburst at Wimbledon :-)

It's a circus act. Not very convincing either.

Didn't he say himself in an interview that now everyone expects him to behave like this? It's an act people.

he should have been thrown out off the court.

It is unnaceptable behavior.

Tragic, just tragic. McEnroe cannot pull that off anymore. The act looks really tired. Drama is wonderful, when it's entertaining. He's bargain basement now. :o

Even when you watch him play, he acts like a junior on the court. I'm not convinced it's all an act, but most of it is. I think it's just his "image."

That's not an act - he was pissed.

Mac's a header! :)

It would be fine if he didn't swear so much, it's still funny though:D

:haha: having lived in New York City, I prefer that they keep him. Suits him better;)

It was a  back in the 1980s as well.

Second that.

The man's an overblown caricature of himself. He doesn't play any more - like Henri Leconte and Mansour Bahrami but in his own way - he now merely performs.

For a moment I thought he was merely playing being the jerk there as that might -unfortunately- be what some of the crowd would like to see.

Alas... he's not playing. He still is a jerk. :(

Of course he feels the need to do this. Johnny Mac is a sick man.

I don't mean this in an insulting way, but this is something he will never outgrow. It's part of who he is - he can't control himself despite the fact he admits that he regrets his outbursts deeply thereafter.
