Better than losing to Waske in IW, anyway :)

Korolev lost though to Sluiter.

I think there's one LL slot to fill in the MD though - is that correct?

i bet roger wouldn't mind getting a revenge right away!

i actually think roger would like to have him in his side of the draw, so he could get revenge, but of course if he lost, it would be a disaster.

I doubt Feds would lose twice to Canas. It would be interesting though if Canas ends up playing against Nadal and gets completely demolished by him.

and a potential rematch with Roger in the fourth round

Yup, Canas is obviously motivated. He didn't need to win to make the main draw. Korolev gets the LL spot.

It is a little suprising. He could have played one point and retired and he would have made the main draw. Instead he administered a beating.

Heheh. And R=FK will change his name to Willy=FedKilla.

I'd be very very surprised if Roger let that happen, though. If he does, I'll seriously start to doubt his motivation for further playing tennis.

After their AO match I was thinking that Henman would never defeat Willy again, this is a good time to see whether Tim can post a win.

Dude, I ain't have no problem with you. But facts are facts, Puerta, Canas, Coria... They have all doped once before. I simply can't believe Willy beat Fed alone. There got to be something he took that helped him through that match with all those ridiculous gets.

Please go read up on the case and then comeback and talk to me :wavey:

johnemms2003

I don't have to read the case. Facts are there. Canas won 3 games in 2006 off of Federer without Juice, and beat Federer in 2007 without Juice? No way. Unless you argue that he was on juice in 2006 and that's why he got streamrolled which is another story. I personally think he should still be banned and Roger would've won IW

You can't tell me that a guy who struggled to win tournaments at his peak comes back after suspension and wins tournaments, upsets world No. 1 and beats Alves 6-0, 6-1. Don't tell me he is Canas 2.0 all of a sudden. I say the dude is juiced up.

qualies guarantee him a match or 2 before teh main draw
that isnt not a bad thing for someone who has been missing for more than a year
what is his ranking atm

He's up to 55 already, with 0 points to defend until September.
