Nadal will go unbeaten from now until the grasscourt season!!!

RonE
03-17-2007, 09:34 PM
Okay, seeing as how I have worked myself into fine form by correctly predicting Nadal would crush Roddick in the IW semifinal it is now time to up the ante.

*cracks knuckles*

This demolition of Roddick has excorsized whatever demons remained in the Nadal psyche from last year and he has now formally regained his mojo. So, I predict he will win every tournament he enters between now until mid-June and won't lose another match until the grasscourt season.

First of all the IW final:

- If Murray beats Djokovic he may give Nadal a bit of a battle as he did at the Australian, but ultimately Nadal is the fresher of the two and mentally tougher.
- If Djokovic beats Murray, he still doesn't have the capacity to keep it together in the crucial points especially not against someone with the stamina of Nadal.
Add to that the fact that the final is a best of five set match, neither Nole nor Muzza are taking three sets off Rafa. Rafa wins IW.

With the IW title in the bag and his confidence and rythm back, Rafa will steamroll his way past opposition on the purple clay in Miami.

After Miami we have the clay clay season- with Rafa's confidence sky high and his game clicking we all know what will happen there.

So there you have it folks, no more loses for our dear little pig until Queen's at least.

From now until mid-June, pork is off the MTF menu.

The new sage of MTF has spoken!

VAMOS RAFA!!!!!!!!!!! :rocker2:

It has been rumoured for months that Rafa will skip Miami in order to be fresh for DC - which would take care of the Miami issue.

This partly because DC for Spain will depend on Nadal - (Robredo or Ferrer obviously have less chance of beating Blake or Roddick on indoor hard).

Assuming that the Americans are good tacticians, they will get Rafa to play Blake first, to try to get him to lose confidence. If he plays Roddick first, I can see him winning, based on yesterday, despite the American home crowd.

So (assuming a win today) all this could come down to the match against Blake (assuming that both are fit). From yesterday, Rafa obviously knows that, to have some chance, he needs to keep his first serve percentage high and his concentration high, and needs to keep not to far back from the baseline. From previous matches he will know that unless he keeps his backhands deep, Blake would punish them and (at least) run him all round the court. At the least, a potentially interesting contest.

he's not skipping miami, get that outta ur head

Prophets of my stature do not take oaths to anyone but the Almighty.

I can however take an oath on behalf of my lieutenant R=FK that if my prophecy does not hold true then he may never post in the Piggy Roasting Thread again

If Nadal continues to play on every surface as if he's on clay he is not going to get particularly better. This match with Djoko is ugly, ugly tennis with no feel for the game whatsoever. Just pure defense back and forth.

That being said, he is already very good. Just not good enough to go undefeated for that long.

Please enlighten me. A true prophet must always seek to absorb as much knowledge as possible :D

Well, i'll summarize it - You need to go through brainwash - that means that the brainwash will cause you to become a real Nadal fan - and for example, your fave smiley will be -http://www.cosgan.de/images/midi/sportlich/b045.gif

And of course your signature will be
Vamos Rafa!!! :p

and only then you can write the things in the 1st post, and maybe it'll work :)

Yeah, because there is only one event left before the clay court season starts, and you know how many matches he has won on clay in a row right?

50-something.

I predict a Rafa win in Monte Carlo (Roger out in the QF). Fed then breaks Rafa's streak in Rome (F). They then both skip the cruddy Hamburg.

i think Federer will break his streak at Monte Carlo, and then Nadal will win Rome. Roland Garros will see.

maybe in the next couple of months, or even the rest of the season, will be like what happened in 2005, that as long as the tournament has both federer and nadal in the draw, either one of them is going to win....

Your stocks have taken a dive when you decided to become dishonourable and break your wager. ;)

You may have been a great sage before that but sadly you have fallen from grace. I have answered my calling by filling the void you left behind you.

That is the price you pay for arrogance my faithful minion. You will always hold an esteemed position in our congregation but sadly you are not the Chosen One.

Now my fellow Rafatards, let us rejoice the fulfillment of the first stage of the Holy Prophecy.

Hey Adee-gee, you should take it easy on your poor little Rasta. First you have him dance until Rafa wins a title and now he is in the party-till-drop mode until the next roasting.

He will be one exhausted Rasta come June :awww:

:rocker2:

Then again, I could be wrong :o

Oh well, Piggy Roasting time it is then
