I'm not usually a gambler but i'm going to ride the wave after my bold "Moya will beat Canas" thread :bounce:
I hope i'm wrong because my threads are annoying and i need to be taught a lesson.
I hope so!

I hope you're right, mate. I would love for JCF to win. He did win the last time they played but I still give the advantage to Rafa. But go Ferrero! A win like this would be awesome.

Nadal is a bad match up for Ferrero. Unless Rafa plays as badly as he did when they played in Cincinnati I give the edge to him.
Of course, there is every chance that he actually will play as badly as he did last time

Nadal in two sets for me , but who knows ?? I just want Rafa to win some matches here and Miami to rebuild confidence for Clay season

Well if Ferrero really has got his game back, then its gonna be real tough for Rafa. But I think Rafa will edge it, just ;)

Ferrero's shots are much sharper now than they were in Cincy. The signature forehand is clearly there now, just needs a little more power and consistency on the running forehand to get it back into perfect shape. His game was completely ****ed up last year in Cincy.

There are still two of them left: Ferrero and Gonzo- in the other half. ;)

Ah, I don't think Rafa should have any fear of Ferrero (I'd be genuinely *shocked* if he won't manage to shake him off today - but well, I must admit, there have been quite some funny upsets during this tournament so I should perhaps be careful here... ;) ) - and Gonzo - well if he meets him, that means it'll be in the final! :yeah:
VAMOS, Rafa!!!

well Nadal lost to Guccione this year so, they have both lost to crap players. Even though Rafa had to withdraw.

flip a coin is more like it. Calling Canas over Federer would have been something special but calling Moya over Canas is like telling us that the grass is green.

Aside from when Nadal played terribly in Cincy (and lost in two tie-breaks) he'd beaten Ferrero in straights in all their previous meetings. I'd expect him to win in 2, possibly 3 if JCF comes out firing on all cyclinders.

Well rafa is actually improving his game to remain at number 2 and eventually take the number 1 spot, is your favorite player a contender for either. He is improving to win grand slams, is you fav player a contender for actually winning grand slams. Improvements take time and sometimes you need to lost a couple to win a lot

If he wants to improve then why is he hitting up the MM clay courts next year after the Aussie?

And well, Nadal over Ferrero with the loss of the two games only was not a huge surprise either.

The dumbass who started this thread picked Moya over Canas which was like telling us the sky is blue and then went for a respectable prediction but lost 6-1 6-1. Like I said earlier, this thread was a waste of time.
