Very rare for me to take this kind of juice. 95% of my Rating Specials been at least -120 or underdogs. I thought about laying the 6.5 points. But at the end of the day I just don't see this one losing SU tonight :

Brumbies ML (-200) over Stormers----------14 units "Rating Special"

Brumbies ML / Highlanders ML (+107)---------1 unit

Brumbies have their best player back. They should win.

Leaning on the Reds to cover but the over might cash in.

The later game, Hurricanes to win.

Hang on, would it be right in saying that there's usually upsets in each rounds, i mean all the favourites have won so far. (Brums, Force, Highlanders). Surely there's an upset on the cards somewhere. I say that the Bulls and Cheetahs are those Dogs that bite.

Blues/Bulls/Cheetahs

Generally yes there are upsets each round but then again all the favourites still can cover.

Not sure if any of you guys are watching this first half in the Blues-Lions game but this is how rugby should be played :worship:

Blues can win by 40+ if they really want to tonight - I'm going to lay anywhere up to 30 points on the Blues if I get the chance at HT

I use a concensus of 3 sites for Aussie Weather. Usually they are on the money but last season they got it badly wrong, said it was fine when it had been raining and it rained during the game. So it always pays to ask.

Howlett is pumped at Rose after he kneeded him in the first half. I actually think it was accidental he doesn't obviously.

Another thing u can do is listen to "radiosport". Anytime there is a NZ sporting event of significance they cover it. Usually with a build up.

Station used to run 24 hours, now it shuts down at midnight and starts up again at 6am.

The Warratahs are making Rugby look like a very complicated game atm ... For them to cross the tryline right now is akin to trying to close a case in court ..

It's more a reflection of Australia's general state in rugby

And to rub salt in the wounds, they still haven't played a kiwi team - they pretty much have all kiwi teams for the rest of the season just when all the AB's are coming back

Yeah while I don't think an Aussie team will win the S14 this season. I don't think u can stick a fork in them for the World Cup. You can only put 15 players on the field at once.

Having a forth team has certainly weakened Aussie's chances of winning the Super 14 title. Aussie rugby is abit like NZ's cricket in some respects competitive with the top team (or close to it) on the field. But depth a worry.

Yep, the 2003 world cup semi final should've taught any future sceptics to hold their tounges ... NZ is the powerhouse of world rugby 9.5 days out of 10 but when it's all on the line in a one off game anything is possible .. as the All Blacks found out in 03 and 99 ...

Yeah a one off sudden death finals format anything can happen. Look at others like the FA Cup, Superbowl etc usually winning spread around. Tough to repeat. The only real teams that have bucked that in the last 10 years are the Aussie Cricket team mutiple wins, same with the NE Patriots-special teams. Can't think of too many others.

I do think this will be the best squad we have ever sent to a rugby world cup, coaching staff Included.

^ And for that reason I ALMOST secretly hope they pull it off this time because it's clear NZ Rugby wants this world cup badly ... As you say it's cheap and nasty to bring it down to 80 minutes ... End of the day the world (or at least the southern hemisphere ie where the real rugby is played, apart from France) knows who holds the whip hand in rugby and it's the men in black ... 9.5 days out of 10 ...
