Could have been easier but at least Juan won't play Federer until SF ;)
(Not overlooking Mahut but) Safin can be anything - if he plays supreme, bad luck but Juan will have a good lesson, otherwise I don't see why not.
Go for it and good luck!

Juan is not in the doubles draw, so I don't know what he does now. Maybe some more days there and then off to Miami. Better luck in Miami!

Not good, it was like a choke.
Juan was a break up in the third and had 3 BP to be 5-2 but couldn't get any of them and I actually think he had a match point on Mahut's serve.
Next stop: Miami

Yeah, Juan was like 3-0, 4-1 up in the 3rd. So maybe it was a "choke".
Well, everyone does choke. Guess even the Fed does. I just hope Juan does it less and less - and one day on a very big occasion he will make it without/conquring chokes. :)

:( Sounds like the Chela match in Brasil when Juan had all the possibilities to win, but couldn't close the match. Juan will learn from those matches.
Good luck to him for Miami :)

Draw for the Sunrise CH :
Juan plays Del Potro in R1..
Then Kuerten or Seppi.
Maybe Mayer in QF - time to beat him once again.
Also, he plays doubles with Lucho Horna, playing Kunitsyn/Trusunov in R1.
