I would be at:

Youtube.com
topheavy.com
pogo.com
neopets.com
uselessjunk.net
....

now you tell on yourself: What would you be caught surfing, if you weren't (or what do you simultaneously surf) here?

How old are you Richard from Cal? My kids go on Neopets all the time, I thought is was for kids

As far as surfing, mainly tennis stuff or movie stuff, sites to look up recipies, sales on my favorite shopping websites. Nothing too exciting I guess.

Indeed I am 50, "spot on"...

Yeah it is for children...and I don't know how I stumbled in there...probably looking for online games whilst not enamored of the multiply-massive player platforms..and there is a game called "Extreme Herder" which tweaks my Christian nature, on Neopets.=8^)

P.S.: this thread subject, on another board, cued me into a site called StupidVideos...that's loads of laughs.:)

Not that much older than me  I"ll have to ask my kids if they've played that one. Nothing wrong with liking "kid" stuff either-I still have a weakness for beanie babies. :o and I like the Groovy Girls dolls a lot more than my girls do :haha: Lots of really great "kids lit" out there too that I love (Kate DiCamillo is wonderful).

I was just wondering about the propriety of teaching children witchcraft (Harry Potter,) either this morning or last night. ...and don't fool yourself that it's not out there, either as far as dissembling from natural appearance, or??...it's not all goth-weirdness. That's all.

We don't ban Harry Potter in our house. I know there are a lot of doubts and warnings about in some Christian circles, but I'm a firm believer that often times we see things based on preconcieved notions. My oldest daughter (who is now 11) fully understands Harry Potter is a fantasy and that at its most basic is a story of good against evil. I know there are people who pracitce whitchcraft out there but we must be able to diserne entertainment from reality.

I have never bought the assertion that SpongeBob and Patrick are gay either, same with Bert and Ernie (and even if they were, no big deal, but I'm sure the creators of both did not intend that)....I think often times we project what is in our own hearts and sub concious onto perfectly innocent things.
