I've done 5 in a row from 40/00 up before...it is doable

But pretty shocking for a world class player :haha: :haha: I've read that the conditions are pretty horrible though.

Coria. More than once I'll bet, although at least once as I saw it happen against Kiefer in Monte Carlo, when he served for the first set.

I see it's 5-5 now at livescore, so it didn't hurt him that much in the end.

Kim Clijsters at RG against Maleeva (think it was 03). She went on to get bagelled in the first set before winning in 3. :tape:

Hilarious match, that. How Coria ever won it I'll never know.

He ended up losing 3:6 5:7.

Agassi is in Las Vegas. Maybe he is thinking about coming out of retirement after watching this... :haha:

Okay, I didn't see Becker's DF's, but I'm assuming he hit his 2nd serves with a similar speed to his 1st? With Coria, the sad thing is that they were all slow as hell, but he still couldn't get them in.

Forget Karlovic vs Querrey...Becker vs Coria would be a match to behold :spit:

Coria was still dominating the rallies once the ball was in, Kiefer just sucks that much on clay.

Actually I remember Kiefer had a break in the final set, then thought he had a double break, but as he marched to his chair the umpire checked a mark, the point was replayed and Coria ended up holding. The chances are if Kiefer had got that two-break cushion he would have ended up winning as they would just have kept on breaking each other and he'd still have been ahead. What a comedy of errors that encounter was (by contrast, Mathieu's choke the previous day from 6-1, 5-1 up was a tragedy of errors).

I'm wondering if Boris ever did this.

Wind was just awful especially on the court Becker played on. Certainly that explains this. it was just horrific out there.

Calleri did it at the Aus Open against Thomas Johansson when he broke back in the 5th set to level at 6-6, then he did it 4 doubles in a row and ToJo won 8-6.

even Federer at 2005 RG (vs. Hanescu?? ) did it if I'm not wrong.

Most weird was Sharapova doing 4 DF in a service game (not in a row, of course) against Clijsters in the AO and she still won that game!

You could do 4 DF in a row and win the game (after 40-0). I wonder if that ever happened.

Forget Karlovic vs Querrey

Thta match had a particularly awesome stat: Querrey won the ace count with a crushing 17-5!. I doubt that Ivo has ever been so dominated in that aspect.

Karol Kucera has also achieved this feat, it was against Hewitt at the AO2004. Kucera was furious about some line calls early in the fourth set and whacked four straight double faults in his last service game at 1-5 down, with the last one never even hitting the ground if it wasn't for gravity.

Dementieva did it more than once in the summer of '04. She would double fault every point of the service game to get broken at love. When she did this against Claudine Schaul in New Haven first round, I remember she took a practice serve immediately after the 8 faults and got it in easily. The crowd laughed.

"if i hit another one it will give people something to talk about."

Ah she must have the most pathetic second serve ever! i actually cannot believe how she has ever got so far with that stupid thing that she calls a second serve!

He served another 4 DFs today.
Shame that they weren't all in the same game.
Guga could have used some help in the returning department.
