In theory if rafa is playing his best. thanx again, oh and I know it's out there. maybe on the atp site but does anyone know where I can find a list of rafa's h2h with other players. scarecrows 02-26-2007, 05:55 PM thanx, can some one please with an unbiased opinion tell me who they think would win in a match up with rafa and santoro, i'd really like to know exempt the hate. In theory if rafa is playing his best. thanx again rafa without any doubt Santoro plays with the nerves of other guys and rafa has enough patience sondraj06 02-26-2007, 05:56 PM rafa without any doubt Santoro plays with the nerves of other guys and rafa has enough patience Thank you. Maybe this tournament I won't have a nervous breakdown... Sjengster 02-26-2007, 05:58 PM More to the point, it's a horrible match-up for Santoro. He's struggled in the past with players like Ferrero and Federer who use heavy forehands with spin to drag him wide off the court and exploit his lack of reach with the two hands on both sides (this might help explain his good record against Safin, a flat hitter who struggles with the low ball). Factor that into a match with Nadal, and it ain't good news for the Magician. GlennMirnyi 02-26-2007, 06:04 PM Yeah, Safin plays soooo flat. :cuckoo: Always nice to see Boredo losing. Sjengster 02-26-2007, 06:06 PM Yeah, Safin plays soooo flat. :cuckoo: Always nice to see Boredo losing. Well yes, in comparison to the players I mentioned. What's the big deal here? GlennMirnyi 02-26-2007, 06:09 PM Well yes, in comparison to the players I mentioned. What's the big deal here? Safin plays with a hell of a lot of spin. If he played flat he'd have done much better on grass, and that's something even he talks about. Ok, if you're gonna compare, say "flatter than". Safin doesn't play flat, unless you compare him with Boredo, Nadal... *Viva Chile* 02-26-2007, 06:28 PM Fab :yeah: gusman890 02-26-2007, 06:34 PM Santoro pulls another win with magic :) aulus 02-26-2007, 06:42 PM maybe on the atp site but does anyone know where I can find a list of rafa's h2h with other players. look at the profile on ATP site, there is a box on the right that says head to head. sondraj06 02-26-2007, 06:44 PM look at the profile on ATP site, there is a box on the right that says head to head. thank you:) Pixie 02-26-2007, 07:10 PM More to the point, it's a horrible match-up for Santoro. Actually, Ferrero isn't that bad a match-up for Santoro if you compare with ToJo or Davydenko for instance. He had some tights match and was giving him a hard time in davis cup for instance from the third set in Davis Cup whereas being injured. I used to believe that players with a lot of topspin would be an issue for him, but as simple as it seems, players who know how to deal with his slice like to play him f.e Davydenko. Granted, ToJo or Kolya with their low centre of gravity have less problems than Safin to deal with it. On the other side, Bruguera has a losing record (1-4) against him with a couple of beatdown even on clay... jazar 02-26-2007, 07:37 PM fabrice was robredo's pigeon until today GugaRocksMySocks 02-26-2007, 09:36 PM Grr silly tommy!!! Oh well...close match and well done to santoro :) silverwhite 02-26-2007, 10:11 PM Fab  JBdV 02-26-2007, 10:41 PM Best result of the day, well done Fab :worship: Merton 02-26-2007, 10:46 PM The result was a pleasant surprise for me. Go Santoro :D Action Jackson 02-27-2007, 01:34 AM Fabrice finally got a win against Robredo who defeated him 5 times in a row. Congrats Fab, I didn't expect him to win this one. oz_boz 02-27-2007, 08:21 AM :woohoo: Ferrero Forever 02-27-2007, 08:27 AM Firstly congrats to Santoro!!! Better luck next time to Tommy. What I find funny is that if it was any other player losing to Santoro, everybody would say what a tricky player Santoro is. But when it comes to Tommy it's because he's boring and untalented. Whats the deal with that? Xristos 02-27-2007, 08:30 AM What a win! safinaferrero 02-27-2007, 09:57 PM MTF Robredo's Haters are so funny :haha:in an ironic way Robredo def 5 times in a row the oldie frenchie but ppl here only remind this one, TR wasn't in a good day it can happens to anyone i think( no need to mention federer fighting for some time against pless or berdych vs the n°374 in the ATP etc...) and Santoro played great *end of the thread :o* u can keep saying how much u dislike Robredo's game, outfit, behaviour, accent etc.... it won't change the fact that he's in the top 10 and deserve it as much as all the player's in this top. Dunno when this guy is playing ppl don't say a word on the match but only one character the spaniard some comments like " he's a looser" "boring" blablabla have nothing to do in those threads so if u hate him create a thread and just let ur hate speak there no need to bash all those threads with all those comments. It's not because i like the player that i say so i could say the same about Nadal or other tennis players but seems ppl are more  about Robredo without any consistent reason. musefanatic 02-27-2007, 09:59 PM Wow well done Fabrice :) Great stuff from him :) Shocked it was such an easy win though  Was Robredo fully fit? safinaferrero 02-27-2007, 10:18 PM Well he didn't play since the AO and had an injury when he was practising in San Cugat according his official web site | |
