Did he at least manage a break point against Haas, since no one else has in this tournament? Incredible demolition job by him on all his opponents, even if it wasn't the toughest field.

Did you see the match?

Far too good from Haas, he would've beaten anyone today. Incredible display, Roddick didn't serve well but even if he had he would've lost. Haas hit 30 winners and 9 unforced errors.

Totally one sided, Roddick did well to get 5 games.

:hatoff: to Haas, unbelievable to win the tournament without evening facing a break point.

Too good from Haas. His serve, his return, his FH, his BH were all on fire today. Mr. Memphis definately has these courts figured out. He was painting the lines with every shot. It was just one of those days where everything he tried worked.

Andy never looked like he was up for this match. He double-faulted on his first service point and was on the back-foot right from the start. 36% 1st serves in, in the first set, tells the whole story. He then tried to take a bit of pace off, to get more 1st serves in, but inevitably Haas then returned more of them.

I don't think it will take Andy long to get over this match. It was just a bad day against an opponent who was on fire.

Leen.

Good win haas, now carry this over to the TMS events.

Are some people REALLY trying to compare GS winner and runner up, multiple TMS events winner Andy Roddick to Lubo who has won.....

I know this forum (on occasion ;) ) does throw up some people and comments that border on desperation and delusion but this takes the cake... :retard:

what makes you think Baggy can beat Nadal? is it their 2 close matches? the 5-0 Nadal set ratio over Baggy? the bagel and breadstick nadal threw in there? please. nadal's first challenge will be against Berdych/Youzhny.

Yeah but Andy and Rafa are far better players than Ljubo and some Ljubotards have problems with understanding it
- they can't read rankings
- they can't read number in h-t-h correctly
- they live in the world where Ljubo has great GS record and many TMS wins
:wavey:
If Roddick was only serve he would be on in Karlovic place in ranking or he would be joke like Ljubicic but he is not becasue he has great ranking history (being #1, #2 and now #3) GS title and many TMS titles + some GS finals
+ I have never said that Ljubicic is only serve :wavey: :wavey: so nice try but you haven't made enough research

Baggy plays a similar game to the XMAN and he had no problems with Rafa earlier. Nadal has regressed on hard courts so a final here would be a suprise for me but i wouldnt mind seeing that aslong as Fed makes the final so i can watch that.

They don't...Malisse is more risqué, which is what you have to be to beat Nadal. Baggy shouldn't take a set off him on Tuesday.

That was horrible from Roddick - not even close. The scoreline wasn't a fair reflection of the match. Haas was really impressive, but it's hard to judge how much of it was down to how good he was and how much of it was down to how pathetic that Roddick was playing.

Roddick sucks :haha:

what a clown.
Now imagine this being 100x more worse and you know how Ljubicic was skinned alive and destructed against Haas in Davis Cup.

Roddick's 7 return points in only two quick sets are looking pretty good if you comparing that to Ljubicic that got only 10 return points in three sets whole match, INCLUDED tiebreak set! :haha: :haha: And played for his country, that is what I call a CLOWN! :rocker2:
