Edge to Roddick on any surface other than Clay. Though Haas has already played two big servers and crushed them. Mind you none of them are close to Roddick's level, but it still counts as something. I can definitely smell a 3 setter between these two, who usually have very entertaining matches. Tommy needs to not go mental though, or else he loses in straights.

Depends on Haas' s mentality . He loses his nerves easily, this would give Roddick extra chance.

Roddick! Glad he beat Murray today.

I don't know - Haas has been playing really well this week so he probably should have the edge but I am never overly convinced with his ability to keep his head together in matches like this.

Hopefully Haas.

They're both serving well, they've both won this title in the past...who the hell knows? :)

H2H doesn't help much - Haas leads 5-3, Roddick has won 3 of the last 4, but Haas won the last 1.

Roddick in 3.

A-Rod in 2.

well Tommy is the better player by far... but he has a bad losing streak to Roddick since he wasted so many chances in the 2004 olympics :help:

time for a better showing vs. Roddick again, Tommy :worship:

Seeds 1-4 in the semis, 1-2 in the finals...If it continues to go by seeding, then Roddick. ;)

Haas has advantage in H2H, but I don't know... many of his victories were on clay.

H2H 5-3 in favour of Haas but 4 of them were on clay. On Hard Roddick has a 3-1 edge, winning the last 3 times they met on Hard.

Very tough.

Tommy leads the h2h 5-3, Andy leads the hard court meetings 3-1 but indoors they're level at 1-1.

The last time Haas beat Andy on a surface other than caly was way back in 2001 (Andy's 1st year on tour) so I wouldn't put too much weight on that to be honest.

No matter what, I think it will be a straight-setter and I think it will be Roddick in 2.

I hope Andy , he has confidence after beating Murray, he had tougher draw in terms of tight matches played, he has 3-1 edge over Tommy on hardcourt and only Tommy win was in 2001 so I would say Andy in 2 or 3 sets

Roddick to win. He showed the stuff to beat Murray and now I think he'll win the final.

Haas is in excellent form this week. I know Roddick has played well against Haas outside of red clay but Haas is the form horse today.
