I watched this Di Mauro guy in Costa and he's one of the biggest jokers I've ever seen. RR ruined this tournament.

Forget Karlovic...this is the death of tennis (what a surprise it happened in a RR tournament where he;'d already lost a match....to Berlocq!!! :haha: ) :help: :spit:

Congrats Di Mauro though! :yeah:

The semi final lineup was a total joke to be honest, its probably as bad as I have seen in any claycourt tournament.

But still, the memory of Di Mauro trying a DROPSHOT OVERHEAD against Saretta haunts my mind.

It's not Di Mauro's fault. He took advantage of this silly system and made it to the final with one match lost. Blame De Villiers not Di Mauro.

Di Mauro is a mug player.

Looks like we will be having a mugs final - Di Mauro vs Monaco. Even a challenger event would be ashamed to have that as their final.

Good for Di Mauro, atleast if he wins the final he will have something to look on when he's out of tennis, pretty late age though, 29...

I think monaco could beat him in the final.

Substitute "think" with "pray" and "could" with "will." ;)

Di Mauro really has nothing, his serve is better than average but after that he has nothing, I cant believe hartfiled did not beat him...

well, the fact the Di mauro is in the final is hilarious but I dont get why people mention the loss to Berlocq while he was already qualified for the quarters

I watch the match and Di Mauro didn't played "really well"... he just put the ball in the court and Hartfield lost it, specially first set and beggining of second.

What a shame for our tournament to have this guy in the final... the worst thing can happend is Monaco losing the final to this guy.

Congratulations for Di Mauro and all that, of course.

But seeing him in the final shows what kind of level this tournament is.

I don't even blame RR that much.

I point the finger to Ferrero, Nalbandian, Almagro, Acasuso and all the other guys who can't even string a few wins together over the lower ranked people in their section of the draw.

di mauro better than massu???? :spit:

this massu is even better than this di mauro, come on... there's not comparition between this 2 players...

i know you hate nico, but it's not fair to compair a guy with 6 singles titles, 2 olympic gold medals, 1 AMS final, former No. 9 vs a guy with 30 years ago who reach HIS 1ST ATP SINGLES FINAL!!!!!! at this age

I saw Diego play against Frank D. in the ATL challenger final...i saw some of the first set which in the end Diego won 7-5,6-0....Diego is a great and talented player on clay and gave federer a run at the FO and i expected diego to be in the final

Here we go again, once again you don't know what you are talking about and have you bothered to this why it could be hilarious.

I could always be a fanboy, that would fit the general mode here.

I think I know what I am talking about cheif. I hold respect for any ATP player whereas you bash an underdog making his way to the final, sure in a normal day he wouldnt make it anywhere near but you cant fault him for battling through. I dont find it hilarious, and I dont think you find it hilarious either, but you are just trying to be a smartass.

di Mauro winning this event would go together well with how the Buenos Aires the RR experiment has panned out so far. If he wins this event, then he has deserved it.

Safinator, stop bitching about me bagging out players http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y18/svein_sveynsson/whine.gifhttp://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y18/svein_sveynsson/whine.gif .

You don't have to like it, but I give reasons and not just oh! he sucks or he's ugly. You'd probably think this was bagging out a player when I said Horna has problems with his return of service.

Burgsmuller reached his first ATP final a couple of years ago (?) and got trashed 0/6 1/6 I think...Di Mauro can't do worse than that today

Yeah sure he has deserved the final - no doubt about that. But two things are a joke to me: (a) RR - he got to the final having lost a match (funnier still, he lost to Berlocq whom he had defeated just to get into the RR stages) and (b) his ATP record is a joke (and he has struggled to even beat players of his type of ranking in these events).

Whilst I wish him all the best today...if he wins, it will kinda reflect badly on the tournament :o

Id like to see you get on the court with these players, We know who would be laughing at who then.
