He reached three masters finals, one he lost to Federer, no shame
second master final was in Spain against a higher ranked Nadal and still won the first 2 sets
and the third was just a choke final by Ivan because in a other match he beated Berdyh 6-1, 6-2

So he can win Master finals but he just don't know how..He panics in big finals and that cost him the match but he can win t if he was more relaxt

Rafa does not need to play MM tournaments to inflate his ranking. I mean how many tournaments has he actually even played this year. And the AO certainly does count, cos Rafa showed he can turn up for big tournaments, unlike your hero.

Geez, people on this forum don't give Robredo the credit he deserves. I find it rather ironic that people are complaining about 'Boredo' when the next round is Ljubicic VS Davydenko. (I have nothing against either of these two players, but to me these guys are the boring dudes). I personally find Robredo to be one of the most enthralling players on tour. If you find him boring then thats fine, but as Carlita said, it's becoming boring hearing you all constantly calling him that. Tommy did well to get to the quarters, and was just outplayed by Djokovic, so well done to both players!!!

I saw the match live in the stadium and witnessed some of Robredo's antics. Childish reactions to missed shots or doubtful linecalls (lying on the ground for a minute, sitting on an linesmen's chair,...). Not saying sorry after winning a point purely because of a lucky touch with the net. Kicking the boarding when leaving the court.
Ironically, later that day I picked up a magazine with Robredo on the cover stating "Robredo: the friendly star".
