Lopez won only 52% on his 1st serve??

What was that, a really bad day for Feli? Or did JMDP return like crazy?

Great showing again by Juan ... only 50 mins...

Yep - Feliciano. If it had been GGC I would have put Del Potro d. Garcia Lopez...

Did anyone actually watch this? There had to be something wrong with Feli, 52% won on 1st serve is just silly...

Hee! While I don't mean to speak too much for Sue and Rosie - but we are all above 30 and I have noticed that we have all remarked about his interviews, etc. in other threads. He just seems like a kid who has his head screwed on pretty straight- he is someone who liked school but also tennis. Plus, he does have a nice, appealing game.

So at least from my point, he just seems like a very nice young man with some good tennis skills. :)

He seems like a neat, nice kid.

Pretty disappointing from JMDP. I have high hopes and expectations for him and losing 3 games to Lopez is a bit of a disgrace. Do better next time, Kamikaze.

Why is this not a surprise? JMDP has far more talent in his little finger than LaLo has in his whole body.

Defeating Lopez nowadays isn't something to be discussed about, really.

Considering indoors is one of his better surfaces, that scoreline is shameful! :tape:

Yes - I pretty much agree. I've met him enough times, and seen him around the circuit enough to know he is a very modest, down-to-earth, decent young kid, from a nice family. He works hard, he respects people, he loves his Mum and Dad and his little sister :awww:, and he also happens to work hard, and be a great tennis player! Nothing much to dislike about him so far! I just hope success doesn't change him too much.
