Shouldn't Greg finally face the facts and find something else to do? I think he has played his best matches...

surely he shouldnt play any tournaments before the davis cup as he will probably break himself. he shouldnt even play davis cup, he wont play singles and he shouldnt play doubles and if he gets to play a dead rubber he will end his career on a humiliating loss.

His life. Let him play

Glad to see he's going to play again. I'm a lefty and cannot help but like most left-handed players.

I'm guessing he just wants a couple of competitive matches prior to the DC tie - the strong assumption seems to be that he'll retire after that tie and he hasn't been offered any wildcards for any of the events this year.

Surely they'll give him a wild card so he can bow out at Wimbledon.

I'm sure they would but I'm not sure if that's what he wants to do - it would mean keeping going for another 4 months and clearly he has no interest in playing Challengers in any sort of sustained basis for the next 4 months - he hasn't for the last 4.

I got the impression he'll announce his retirement after the DC tie but we'll see.
