This thread is back again and will be open for the year finishing around 27th December and you are allowed to include retired players.

So this means any player that has played on the mens tour can be voted. If voters want to give reasons, then that's cool, if not, then they don't have to.

Here is how the points will be distributed.

#1 = 10
#2 = 9
#3 = 8
#4 = 7
#5 = 6
#6 = 5
#7= 4
#8= 3
#9 = 2
#10= 1

Voting for the same player 10x will only count as 1 vote. Also at least 5 players should be named or it won't be counted.

Funny how no one gives their reasons for listing these players
For their game, for their personality, for their looks? ;)

I could post the same on the favorite listing thread as well.

Choose as you wish, it's not like I am gonna lose any sleep over this matter. I chose them because I don't like them and not because they are Swiss. Boy you must be the most insecure guy around; just because I don't like them doesn't mean I got something against their Country.
BTW there is nothing to be jealous of these guys imo.

Not much love between Argies and Chileans...

BTW, as someone pointed out, it would be nice if everyone provided a reason of any kind, for naming various people. As for me, I don't think there are 10 tennis players I really dislike - the main reason I get pissed off at any player is when they defeat my faves and celebrate too loudly after doing that, but it seems to me kinda childish to actually 'dislike' a person I don't really know, for such petty reasons. It's mostly adrenaline anyway. So I'll abstain from voting in this poll.

1.Gonzalez: Nearthental, primitive, violent, i think the reason dulko is playing so bad is because he hit her, he injures her, poor girl.
2.Rafa: pumping and jumping all around like a crazy pig, cerdo.
3.Agassi: marketer, self-aware, a lie, atp gave him some slams it was good for the business.
4.Robredo: whiner, little girl, become a man.
5.Nalbandian: stop eating fatass, he's changing to one handed so he can hold a steak or some twinkies with the left.
5.Canas: cheater, i wonder how many pills he took to win Costa do Saupie .
6.Puerta: cheater.
7.Gaudio, get a shrink, suicide yourself, crazy asshole.
9.Youzhny, the gratest chocker all time, lobotomy needed.
10.Gicquel, i hate the way he clean his left hand in the raquet when he's receiving, what nasty thing he does during break time.

Federer --- Stupid arrogant , typical boring swiss without emotions and charm . Watching Federer finally I understand why the swiss are neutrals , cuz they are as boring as Federer
Vilas --- Big mouth and he goes to every tournament . Annoying
Coria --- People think that Coria is talented , haha
Blake --- Braindead tennis without variants
Roddick --- Enemy number 1 of tennis . When Roddick plays his ugly tennis it seems to me that he hates this sport
Gasquet --- Hyper - mega - super Overrated
Ljubo --- Overachievment as tennis player , plus he is a Bald Clown with a big mouth
Ancic --- He is super boring and overrated
González --- Kagon
Agassi --- His wife is a big piece of &%%$$%

2. Volchtkov. Another idiot, arrogant prick. Retire for gods sake.
3. Roddick. On court personality. As someone said, it's like he hates the sport. Or want to burn our eyes. And too big.
4. Vilas. Incredibly self-centered. Come on, you are retired now, you can't play anymore, noone wants to see you playing like an old fart, if I wanted to see you I'd buy tapes.
5. Del Potro. Boring game, boring personality, mega overhyped in Argentina.
6. Gonzalez. Baseball player. Likes to burn argentinian passports. He acts like a macho in Chile against argentinians and then he makes excuses to not come to Argentina.
7. Coria. He lives in a cloud. He provided a great amount of laugh with his serve though. And he thinks he can challenge Federer. Faked injuried, unfriendly. I hate his father the most actually.
8. Fish. Arrogant, friend of Roddick. Too big when he lost to Massu in Athens. He probably says too big as well.
9. Young. Goal: ''I would like to win every Grand Slam more than once''.

2. Stepanek - Use to feel sorry for the guy, seeing as I have seen nicer looking cows udders, but the guy is a complete jackass on court, gamesmanship annoys me a lot.

I believe it was when Horacio de la Pena, who's Argentinian, became Gonzalez's coach, or else when he started to coach the Chilean team in either WTC or DC (I am really vague on the background); Gonzalez joked in a press conference that they'd burn his Argentinian passport and get him a real one, and it didn't go down too well with the journalists. :o

1. Connors- He is the only real player that I have really, really disliked this much. And disliking someone as a child can burn deep and true. He just was such an ass. Plus- as a fan of Krickstein the fact that they replay that USO match over and over just bugs/ But he seems to have gotten better since he has retired- and he finally got rid of the bowl cut more or less. I never thought a semi-mullet would be an improvement, but there you go.
2. Pashanski- Just a piece of work
3. Pat Cash- I'm not really keen on misogynists
4. Radek Stapanek- I've tried to give him a chance because he can be in some entertaining matches - but it seems like he can be quite a jerk and as a DC fan, I did not like how he handled that situation.
5. Mardy Fish- since I like to support players from the US- I have tried to support Lady Legs. But no- I get frustrated watching his matches, and there have been a number of stories of him being a jerk - for example, calling Gasquet a "French fa**** from the stands at the USO does not bode well for me. (I used to like him a lot more than Ginepri, but as I have started to like Robby more because he seems like a nice enough guy and is often overlooked when he is having success, my dislike of Mardy has increased.)

1. Ljubicic - comments that he's made have turned me off. I do feel kind of bad for him though, he's pretty much ignored even though he's a solid player.
2. Nalbandian - I guess he just annoys me because he doesn't play to his full potential, all of those kinds of players annoy me.
3. Murray - I can't stand his mannerisms on the court. It's funny how he slinks around between points but is actually pretty fast when he's playing. He's definitely going places, but I'm not on the bandwagon.
4. Spadea - He's a jerk
5., 6. Djokovic & Berdych are just kind of boring to me, though I don't really "dislike" them, per se.
7. Ginepri - Not really sure why...he's one of the few Americans that I dislike. I guess I just don't really like his demeanor.

Towards the end Krajicek got the better of Stich more often than not ;)

Yes :) Krajicek won their three last meetings on Tour. Richard also won two matches against Stich on Champions Tour. But one of Richard's defeats against Stich was very painful - Stuttgart Indoor 1993. At 5:6 (30-40) in the fifth Krajicek served an ace but a line judge called "out" On Krajicek's second serve Stich played good return and then forehand passing-shot - it was over. I was furious

I am sure you thoroughly enjoyed their 4th round 1996 Wimbledon encounter

Of course, I enjoyed it. Richard back to back defeated in straght sets former Wimbledon champions and this was a very nice feeling for me

I am not talking about his results, I am talking about his improved volleys, Forehand was always a key part of his game ( at one time considered one of the best) and has put some decent plays on clay. He isn't crèeme de la crème but he doesn't completely suck. Besides you said you hate him for things he can't do yet he can do then changed your statement to say because he lost a set to Tsonga and lost to Federer you don't lke. I haven't changed my argument. I'm just giving you examples that he still sucks and always will.

Ok, I respect your opinion, though on your examples of horrible game, I can give examples where this horrible game downed guys like Berdych and of course the top man himself at Kooyong :p (now don't tell that was a present from Roger because Roddick was on)

He wins more points on 1st serve (when it is actually returned) than before because he follows up and kills the point with a nice volley winner.;)

As for the forehand, it's just a twist of fate. Nowadays the backhand does what the Forehand used to do so there is no loss.

You're quite delusional, I must say.
1st - Roddick will never defeat Federer. Exhos aren't worth anything. Everybody knows that.
2nd - A guy that can't defeat ladylegs Murray indoors with that serve can't get much respect. Even Karlovic made a better job.
3rd - Face the facts. Roddick can only serve. And even serving couldn't help him when he was thrashed by Federer last time.
4th - Even Srichaphan has defeated Berdych on clay, so... no big deal.

3. Ljubicic
4. Massu
5. Philippoussis

1. Federer - A complete phoney. An arrogant shit who puts on this nice guy front when clever people like myself can see through it. About as charismatic as a plank of wood. I don't care if he's the best player ever, one sided matches are not fun. His fans piss me off as well. Ummm, there are other tennis players you know :silly:
2. Berdych - What a complete and utter prick.
3. Ljubicic - It's ok to be outspoken and criticise other people if you're good. The fact is, Ljubicic is not. Get out the top 10 you waste of space, and if you would gladly disappear from the tennis world it would benefit us all. And take the Croatian tennis fans with you :wavey:
4. Massu - Snorefest. Probably the most unexciting player in world tennis, quite some achievement with Robredo and Davydenko around. Also throw in the fact that he fights when he can be bothered and tanks when he can't makes him a worthy #4.
5. Philippoussis - Complete and utter waste of talent. Arrogant, egotistical, rude man :retard:
6. Robredo - Oh man, where to start? Firstly, ditch the retro gear, it doesn't suit you. Secondly, learn how to hit a winner. Thirdly, beat someone half decent or win a decent title to justify your place in the top 10.
7. Chela - Another true penis of the tennis world. Total arsehole.
8. Stepanek - Nasty piece of work. I still can't understand what Martina is doing. She's a nice young lady. Total miscarriage of justice. His antics on court obviously add to his annoyance levels, as does his face.
9. Davydenko - Another snorefest, but my dislike for him has decreased, he seems to have come out his shell slightly, and I respect his work ethic. A smile every so often wouldn't go amiss though :)
10. Ancic - I don't have too much against him, just totally overrated. The best player in the world on grass?!? :spit: Perhaps a little unfairly placed in my top 10 but nevermind.

1.nadal - What a burro, he was too full of himself during the clay seasons, especially Rome last year and his sly comments about federer to the spanish media very different sounding from what he tells the world media... a bad loser as shown by Berdych in Madrid and i dont like those snidey looks he gets on his face when he's losing/lost to someone i.e when he got his plate at Wimbledon last year after Fed munched him, reminds me of sharapova.
thinks he should be the all mighty winning machine in tennis but guess what Nadal, you're no Federer.
i have more but that is enough
2.Nalbandian - Rude stupid cagon, unbelievable shit behaviour v Hewitt at the AO a few years ago when he instigated it then cried wolf... did something similiar last year v Henman and had the gaul to question Henman's sportsmanship.
3.Connors - just to see a few clips from him in old matches he was an jerkoff and pulled some stunts to put players off, although alot in that era were the same (some ppl even liked that about those old players, well not me) , as a commentator he was good apart from when he is ALWAYS going on about 'grinding it out' 'fight' stuff all the time about the player who is losing... yes Jimmy, you were a great grinder in your day.. we get it. and now coaches the duck.
4.Soderling - dont like his face, and if you make Federer complain about you after a match, it says something. :p
5.Rios - he was too arrogant for his own good, and often mentally quit out on matches when he was being outplayed, then had that 'oh im not trying anymore, if i was ...id have won' attitude.
6.Rafter - i loved watching Pat play but i always hear stories that he was a typical aussie disgusting slob of a guy behind the scenes, and he did look it when he had his beard and sweaty arse crack shorts, real scruffy sort.
and mate this mate that....
fuck off mate.
why he was/is loved by women i'll never know... as im not a woman.
7.Rusedski - when ppl talk about phonies, this was the real phony.... canadian came to ENG to make sponsorship money.. then Henman came along.
bitter, twisted and from what i hear a real prat to many. his grin was so fake and i didnt like how his face would go all contorted and he would rush when he was under pressure - and inevitably lose, shit pro and done coaches out of money and treated them like dirt after they would get his career back on track for him, lovely.
8.Chela - no need to spit at someone just because they are outplaying you.
9.Moya - last year he wouldnt have been in my top 50, but his views on Federer changed alot when Nadal showed he would be a challenger... he loves his little kid and sounds like a Rafatard now.
10.Ljubicic - all the things everyone knows about him, he is a sour grapes loser who whines about everything... i couldnt stand that match in Qatar when he beat Youzhny, was being outplayed all day long, had a face like thunder but his serve dragged him through to a undeserved TB win and then he had this big stupid arrogant laugh on his face like how lucky and great am i, then he gets lucky in the final v Muzza

that felt good. :)

1 He thought he was hard, a tough guy. Don't like people who think they are fucking solid.
2 Miserable moaning fool always whining and was too much of a coward to come and play on grass. He didn't play because he hated the surface, tiredness never came into it.
3 Gamesmanship and trying to get under the opponent's skin. I seem to recall Murray being the villain from their Wimbledon encounter, when it was so Radek's doing.
4 Money grabber who wants inflated DC salaries. You're representing your country Filippo, no need to be like that.
5 Another gamesmanship idiot that loves to put his rival off any way he can. Particularly the art of faking an injury. Who can remember his time out when serving for the match against Gaudio? He's also the most boring player to watch on tour.
6 Spitting is a horrible horrible thing and is not advocated in any sport.
7 A robot.
8 I used to hate him because he loved to get under his opponent's skin, cheered the worst errors and was all full of himself. Don't mind his passion though, I like the passionate players.
9 Just a general dickhead in all forms.

You say that to cover Roddick and Murray losses on clay to some hacks like Tursunov and Arthurs.

Actually, he's talking about Montreal in Canada. Roddick defeated Federer in that match.

As for you banging on about Lisnard, you make excuses for players losing to Murray (oh Federer was injured, Ljubicic was tired), well I don't need telling that Murray could hardly walk/run for a set and a half of that Lisnard match and someone as badly hurt as he was could lose to pretty much anyone.

As for Roddick on clay, well at least he hasn't lost to Ginepri. I know George won't agree, but I respect his views. Roddick is not a great clay court player but he is no clown. He has also beaten good players on the surface, just as Mirnyi has.

1) Wrong. It's 11-1 and the last time Roddick won was in 2003. Nobody taking tennis seriously counts exho matches, so ATP doesn't and ITF doesn't.
2) :haha: The best joke ever. What has he done in Paris? Lost to Hrbaty?
3) Well, he only won that US because Nalbandian was cheated.
4) If he can lose to Tursunov, the ultimate clay hack, then he can lose to Berdych. Luck
1) :haha: you say Roddick hasn't beaten Federer and never will, then you point out that the record is 11-1 and comment on Roddick's win :help:
2) Are we judging people's indoor ability solely on Paris? Does that mean Federer is no use indoors? :retard:

I'm not on about multiple RG champions, I'm on about players on clay Roddick has beaten. Coria, Costa, Grosjean, Berdych, Horna, O Rochus, Davydenko, Ljubicic, Baghdatis, Acasuso, Pavel, Robredo, Russell, Blake, Sampras and Gonzalez. All guys Roddick has beaten on clay that aren't clowns.

And I haven't said Mirnyi losing to Ginepri makes him a clay gimp. It doesn't. Roddick losing to Arthurs doesn't make him a clay clown either. Andreev lost to Arthurs too, you know.

And the Lisnard thing, Murray twisted his ankle when he was a set up against Lisnard, on his worst surface, and the injury made a big difference. Just like exhaustion made a big difference to Federer in Monte Carlo 05 and Cincinnati, and Gasquet and Murray beat him.

1) I said he never will. 11-1 says enough. You're trying to push the Kooyong card and that isn't worth anything.

Pure contradiction:

2) You say that because he owns Nadal
3) Ljubicic gave Murray some beating in Doha. If you think Murray should be a top 10, then Ljubicic should be too. Haven't lost to Lisnard too.
6) "Learn to hit a winner"? And your favorite players are Murray, Nadal and Roddick. Talk about hypocrisy. Nadal was outwinnered by Kohlschreiber!
10) And Murray is what?

You can't contradict yourself more than that? Maybe doing a top 20 list...

Anyway, disliking a player because he doesn't smile on court is :silly:
2) Yes I call Berdych a complete and utter prick because he owns Nadal. Maybe I just think he's a complete and utter prick, did you ever think about that? And you've got a nerve saying I'm contradicting myself, your 2 least favourite players are Murray and Nadal who happened to be the only 2 people to have the nerve to beat your idol last year :)
3) By that theory, does Murray deserve to be #1 based on the fact that he beat Federer? Murray lost to Lisnard in his first match on the ATP, if you're going back to when he was 17 to prove a point it shows how tragically weak your argument is.
6) If you still think Murray and Nadal are moonballers, I pity you and fear there is very little anyone can do to help you.
10) Murray has achieved more in his short time on tour than Ancic has in his 5 or so years on tour.

Him and Ljubicic played a big part because their doubles team was unbeatable.

He also won the fifth rubber. Albeit it was against Mertinak, but he still played a part.

Don't worry, I expect Murray to achieve plenty of things. Being crocked against Lisnard will make no difference to his career, just like losing 6-2 6-1 to Hantschk made no difference to Federer's clay court prospects.

Missed the point well and truly.

You seem to think Murray is a bad player and will do nothing BECAUSE he lost to Lisnard.

Verkerk LOST to Lisnard, and went on to make a slam final afterward.

He is not the benchmark.

Sheesh this is like watching Pobol Y Cwm.

You missed the point first. If you're going to make this kind of comparisons then Fraile beat Kuerten that beat Sampras.

Max is the best volleyer of the world now. You'll say no, but then again, you like Nadal and Roddick.

Henman is one of my favorite players, has always been.

Who's talking about attitude in this discussion?

Oh I just assume that is why you have such a burning hatred for him, and I used it as a way of venting about everyone's over complientary attitude about Fed's grace- and I like posting him-- he's so cute
