Seriously: How can one beat Roger Federer on any surface?

Close to impossible but here is my thought...

1) Attack his backhand with heavy top spin. Federer cannot hit outright winners off high rising balls (shortcoming of single handed backhand). 2) Opponent attack Federer's less threatening ;) backhand return. Even though Federer's backhand has improved tremendously since FO '06 (beat Nadal twice in a row...fast court or not) it has not caught up with his forehand. 3) Nadal-like mental toughness. 4) Patience

Cut off his legs. It should work enough.
