Annoying habits you have, that piss other people off

We all talk about the things we like or we talk about 15 random things about yourself, but we have no thread that talks about our annoying habits.

I'll start:

Everytime I get in a car, if I'm not driving, Ill put on my headphones and listen to music for hours straight. Everytime people try to talk to me, they'll have to talk loud in order for me to remove my headphones, to then liten to what they have to say. Sometimes, I will go on "auto-pilot" and say "yes" or "interesting" to everything they ask me. This usually manages to piss off everybody I know, my friends, my family (especially my dad). I will evenually get yelled at, and I will then be forced to turn off my ipod. One day, it will simply fly off the car window.

So, what annoying habit or habits do you have?

I'm sincere and most ppl can't take it. Most annoying.

When getting to know someone, I tend to ask them a lot of questions, which sometimes either comes across as:

- too interrogative
- a bit childish

though in reality, it just means I'm interested in them I guess.

 I can understand this. Perhaps it might help if u explain the real reason behind ur questions ;)

For me i think its my obsessiveness when it comes to work. When i have something to do at work, i worry about it a lot for fear it's not done properly so i check my "homework" out more than once.

I don't deliver work duties later than expected so it's not pissing others off . Not yet i guess, it's just that friends at work pity me and i guess i pity myself too especially when there's much work to do.

I'm seriously straight forward, no really, about my opinions and it comes off as abrasive, i think I'm better with it now. But the people I worked with this past year let me know, I don't mean to put people off. and because I never try to offend people, it's not a conscience thought oh let me censor myself so this person doesn't get upset and before the words are out of my mouth they are already upset. but it's only because I truly don't want to offend so it's never a thought that it might come out offensive, then I'm confused why that person has an attitude with me, and it just snow balls from there.

I'm too sarcastic and then if I offend someone I then annoy them by repeatedly apologising way too much
Also my standard greeting is 'you alright' which I will use on the same person countless times in a matter of minutes - its become automatic now, even if I know I've said it I'll still ask y'alright! I think I'm going to have it engraved on my headstone "Are you alright?"

To be honest, I have too many to list. It would take me forever to list and think of them :D

Probably the one my parents are always moaning about and the major one, I am lazy around the house. I don't clean up, leave stuff laying around, don't do much for myself etc.

I agree with the guy above ^^^ there is nothing worse than a girl who wants you to ask all the questions, and is like a brick wall when you are speaking to them (apart from them yabbering about theirselff). Those kind of people make me want to run away and hide from them. I do ask a lot of questions sometimes, but it's only because I want to gain the knowledge, or I am interested in that thing.

In fact, someone who asks me lots of questions would make me feel at ease (where I know for a lot of people it would creep them), but it means they are interested, and also means you aren't the one making the effort all the time.

KEEP IT UP GIRL!! YOU HAVE THE IDEA :yeah: :D

Yeah, I guess so. When I was younger, I had people say "you ask too many questions" but what the fuck is the point speaking to someone if you aren't interested in them and asking questions about them. Always a pathetic defensive response when some fool says that. I think those are just the kind of people who don't ask any, I mean someone who is "normal" in that way, you are going to be asking lots of questions to each other. Not asking questions means I am either: 1 Uncomfortable in their company, 2 I don't like them, and have no interest in knowing or speaking with them (sometimes both).

And anyway, I guess my tastes in most things are not the usual ones :D So no worry

The ideal thing when talking to either guy or girl would be to talk in a natural manner. Something that comes out as being forced, at least for a prolonged period of time, wether it be asking a question, or responding to questions is annoying. However it is normal to have to ask various questions in order to get to know somebody better.

I mean, if you ask something like 40 questions in succesion, then yes, that could approach the edges of annoyance. But if you ask many questions, there is nothing wrong with that.

I have to say that I hate it when guys play 20 questions, but that's more when they first meet you and it's kind of their rap.

Where you from
What's your name
how old are you
why you looking so sad
where you headed to
where's you boyfriend
could I have your number

shut up

It is a complete turn off, but it doesn't happen too much now, that kind of got played out, but it used to annoy the crap out of me. And chancea were I wasn't interested anyway, so answering those questions really came off like a chore for me. I couldn't even fake interest and sometime it came off rude. Now guys are just more direct- I think your cute, let me have your number, funny the answer is still no.

My dirty mind pisses a lot of people. :haha: It also makes them laugh when all I talk about is sex sex and more sex but it does piss them off. One person I work with say I'm the sickest person they have ever worked with. :haha:

My family, however, think I'm an angel. If they heard some of the stuff I say -they'd probably dissown me. Thankfully they're about 7 hours away.

Also, I have a tendency to stare at people when I'm drunk.

zico- we may not be the same in some (a lot) of our political beliefs, but I too am a fidgeting potty mouth.

My annoying habits-
1) I have suffered from insomnia through most of my life. Sometimes when I can't go to sleep, I will start to do things like lift weights, clean parts of the house, or do some work if I have a big project at around 2 or 3 in the morning. Former roomates and current husband have said that it is kind of creepy.

2) I can over apologize

3) I can talk to myself and/or my computer at work.

Is it weird that I do those exact same things.

I always get up when I can't sleep & usually end up doing essays on the computer or I have cleaned the bathroom a few times

Also saying sorry for everything, even when people say stop saying sorry I say......wait for it.....sorry!
