At least Knittel will. The guy goes everywhere for a direct entry this year. :cuckoo:

Yeah you are right, Jan ; this more than , lemme say this "mediocre talented" guy  Knittel makes the best outta his situation and his strategy playin the small futures and now small challengers like in Burnie or here in Kyoto really works out so far.

He has reached a career high, is near to reach 250 and with this a direct entry into the french open qualies:eek: I guess this is Bastians aim and therefore his tournament schedule is quite clever.

In this regard he reminds me of big prospects like fellow countryman Alex Satschko or ex countryman Ivo Klec:lol:

He seems to have at least quite a lot of money to travel that much.

Very astonishing his personal development really is indeed but i guess he is already far beyond his peak performance:haha:

I've seen Knittel too in 2005 and I'm surprised about his good rank. He's a poor man's Kindlmann or poor man's T.Popp. It's always frustrating for me when these guys like Uebel or Knittel are better ranked than my (talented) favourites.

I see Larsi is on the list too. I guess he wants to work on his top 100 goal here. :tape: He really thinks he can come back. :cuckoo:

I went to Kyoto CH yesterday and today. It was terribly tired yesterday, so I didn't report, sorry.
Today's 3matches were all good.

It was a very tight match Suzuki and Bohli.
Suzuki gave break points many times to Bohli in 2nd and 3th set , but he had escaped everytime by fantastic serves aces miraculously.
It seemed Suzuki was in good physical condition as same as QF. But he had a great deal of difficulty to win today.
because All Bohil's stroke were really close the base line and he had net play sometime surprised.
I'd never seen his net play in QF and he had good mental allso.
But fainaly Bohli made 1st double felt on TB,and he did 2nd one when Suzuki's match point,so it's over... That's too bad for him.
I think,Bohli wiil go up ranking much more.:D
Suzuki will be back to play ATP level , I think so.

Ratiwatana brothers were fantastic doubles today.
It was the best during this tourmanent. They won by a narrow margin after a close match by thier easy missshots at SF. But it was so so great today! When the champion speechs, Sanchai said " it was first time to win against Ram/Reynolds, so very happy !! "
anyway congratu :yeah:

Tomorrow it's fainal.
go go Suzuki !! but Kindlmann's tennis is very offensive, he plays the game dominant so well. He is good condition allso;)
I hope nice fainal match!

i hope Suzuki will get back to ATP level, altho his ranking atm is 471. But he hasn't play much at all, so any points he gains will help him alot in the rankings.
i also want to see him play more internationally, not only in japan.

Takao's last ATP level tournie's result was impressive.:)
Tokyo, Japan
International Series Gold, 2-Oct-06, O, Hard , Draw: 48
R64 Greul, Simon (GER) 83 6-2 6-2 Stats
R32 Srichaphan, Paradorn (THA) 40 7-6(4) 6-7(5) 6-4 Stats
R16 Waske, Alexander (GER) 126 6-7(4) 7-6(10) 6-1 Stats

Hi,chewy
yes, his last ATP result was so great.
I saw his matchs in the stadium at that time, in Tokyo.
I was so impressive too.
his high ranking is 102. but unfortunatiy he had injury many time.
If he can play regulaiy, he will be in top 100.

We have DC against Thailand next manth,of cource Suzuki will be called up.
When Japan will beat to Thailand, we can go to the playoff match of world group.
If we will face to Europian team on away , Japan team will go to Europa.
You may see Suzuki and Japan team! :wavey:

Please cheer him!
he likes to get cheering for him and he likes to write a signature and be taken his pictuers by fans.

i completely agree, i think suzuki's a true quality player and can definitely get inside top100 if he play regularly.
And aforementioned, he just needs to play more atp/challengers outside of Japan.

cos i remember hearing commentators say that he plays in an all-japanese tour within Japan, because he's so popular there. maybe u know more abt this.

Suzuki wasn't good today.
It didn't go in 1st serves well, missed vollays...
He had coughed many time, maybe he might catch a cold. It was snowing in kyoto today.

Kindlemann plays very good today 1st and 2nd set.
He didn't make Suzuki to do serves and vollays that Suzuki's best tennis.
But when Kindlmann's serves 5*-6 30-00, he made easy misses, and he did double felt at the Suzuki's set point, so 1-1 set all.

In the 3ed set, Kindlmann has be sensitive that kids who were walking during games. he lost 1st his serves game, and he broke his racket.
he couldn't get himself up for a match any more.:retard:
