todah rabah!

I'm Jewish :) I went to a Jewish camp every summer and whenever it was anyone's birthday we sang :) We also sang Hatikvah every morning, such a beautiful anthem.

that's about all the Hebrew I know lol... I can read it. Had to do it for the Bat Mitzvah of course :) But don't know what anything means :o

But I hope you could come one day, there's a lot to see.

The States are sort of dangerous. ;)

I'd like to go everywhere too :)

Maia, I've had a few opportunities to go to Israel for free, because there are several organizations here that sponsor Jewish youth to go.... but my parents will have no part of it. Plus, most of the trips include a lot of hiking and I don't hike lol. But one day I will go, I have to.

Maia
03-27-2004, 07:08 PM
yes, once, about 7-8 years ago. I've been to Miami.
I hope I could come to the US in the next few years, I have family in Grand Rapids, Michigan, so maybe I'll go visit them in the near future *I hope, I hope, I hope*

You don't hike?

Is there a reason for that?

Here, people just go on hikes to socialize.... it's like a get together.

Moving to New York is a good way to get exercise. I have to walk to get almost everywhere.

On the other hand, they say a jog in the New York air is like smoking a cigarette.

I think that is a nice thing about New York. San Francisco too. Most European cities. So. Cal. is dreadful for walking. Houston isn't so good either. But I do like the Rice U. area. You can walk a lot of places there.

Yeah, 33 and 36 seem to be dangerous numbers, too: Jesus, Alexander the Great ... Princess Diana and Marilyn Monroe ... wasn't JFK Jr 36 when he died?
